It had a lot of issues throughout development. It could have been a documentary to be honest!

Oh no 😮i missed the premiere. The game looks visually pleasing but I kinda boring 😅 and lacks content , its really like you said “ made for some more money 💵 “ . I saw the first three movies but barely remember anything and I always thought that after the third movie I lost interest and felt like they tried to keep this franchise alive so hard , how many movies are in total 7 ? I lost count 😂 , feeling the same for minions / despicable me franchise. I’m glad to see you back ❤ can’t wait to see more reviews. Hope you are well!

Finally caught up! and I tell you what the wait was worth it, I remember playing the PS2 ice age game and this game had so many similarities almost to similar that you could say this was a remaster but to find its something new but old at the same time! is very strange for modern days. but despite your conclusion I still find myself wanting to go and play this game for myself, the only thing that puts me off is the price, this game is way to expensive for what it is and hardly ever comes down on price or goes on sale 🤣 so one day i will play this game but that is not this day! but overall i really loved your review and i cant wait to see what you do next!!
Thanks so much as usual!! And yes, I would still recommend it for fans of the old PS2 licensed games. It's nothing special but does harken back to the early days. I find it underwhelming there's no big reward at the end of it all but it's overall enjoyable, if very average. If you like Ice Age, I don't think you'd hate this.

THERES A PS4 ICE AGE GAME?!?!?
there is a boss fight with the rhinos near to the start of Ice Age 3, you play as sid and have to ride on them to break some rocks
the preceding cutscene has the perfectly iconic line,
"this is what happens when I wake up before noon"
as for the part about crates seeming out of place,
both 2 and 3 have items within solid blocks of ice that you can break....
hahhhaaahha, very glad to see a reference to finding nemo in regards to going through rings, when it's not something you've made a video on yet. it's amazing how much this channel appeals to me
guanlongs are a middle to late game enemy in the third game, and they do look exactly like that. scrat's only presence in the game is in three sidescroller levels, but they have some damn good music. he doesn't really ever get to interact with the dinosaurs before this, is what I'm saying
