The "secret" is getting all of the samples to play well together and using external effects makes a huge difference to the end result. KORG didn't exactly spoil us with the built in reveb so using something like Valhalla Shimmer or Supermassive takes it to another level of fun as a performance machine imo.
YesI have it hooked up to FL Studio so I can add effects. And I usually split the stereo channel into two fx racks so I can add reverb and stuff to the synths without affecting the drums.
Please please please Korg make a large format Volca Sample with pads that double as keyboard like on NanoKeys, sampling ability, microphone, and polyphony. That would be the ultimate.
Thanks! I used Sony Vegas to edit this and all I did was to use a little bit of Soft Contrast. I filmed the video with a Sony A6400 and a Sony 50 mm 1.8 lens. Here is a photo of the setup: czcams.com/users/postUgkxUm7ir0BDnU65EghXxlRImSchaWSVrQDn
This really is very impressive. I'd like to know if the samples were all loaded on or did you make this with the stock samples? Korg should be paying you.
Thank you! I made all the samples myself and build kits that fit on the Volca Sample. So they are optimized in that sense. All my packs are available on my Patreon www.patreon.com/posts/85157189
Thanks! I add external effects as I'm recording the song into my DAW (FL Studio). I pan some samples left and others right so I can apply two different types of effects to the percussion and synth/pads. External effects are necessary to get a more stereo sound imo.
Yes, it's very similar but the limitations of the Volca Sample can force you to rethink how you would normally do stuff. So that's what I like about this machine. Creating and curating the samples does take some time for sure.
Download the sample pack I made for this track: www.patreon.com/posts/85157189
Great composition. It's kind of a flex to drop these samples on the Volca when just this track is probably pushing the memory limits.
Thank you! Oh yeah, my Volca Sample is always filled to the brim. Pushing those 4MB's to the limit XD
This track has an amazing vibe, loved watching sequencing
Cheers! Thanks for watching!
You are ridiculous. This is great. Absolutely loving the Silent Hill inspirations.
killer pocket..............great combinations of vibes, sounds, space and pumpin' intensity............

I absolutely love the jungle/dnb type beat please make more

I have a Sample and I don’t even know how you manage to pull this stuff off. Amazing!

It's incredible how you create all this stuff! You're really talented!
Thank you!
Awesome sauce! Always good to watch and listen to your Volca Sample creations. You're a master of it.

🔥🔥🔥👍
This is great! thanks for sharing! May I ask is the shimmer reverb a software plug in on DAW or it's a hardware version? Thx !

@@RemixSample Thank you so much😄

Here's me thinking the korg was just a plain old drum machine. Did you use a pedal with this?
YesI have it hooked up to FL Studio so I can add effects. And I usually split the stereo channel into two fx racks so I can add reverb and stuff to the synths without affecting the drums.
Please please please Korg make a large format Volca Sample with pads that double as keyboard like on NanoKeys, sampling ability, microphone, and polyphony. That would be the ultimate.
And that's another cool jam btw. So complete even though it's just coming from the Volca!
@@nebula0697 Thank you!
They kinda did that with the Korg Electribe 2 but for some reason it really didn't vibe with me :( I can work 10x as fast on the Volca Sample.
Nice! Could you tell me what video effects did you use in this video? Thanks!
Why is it so hard to do this on other sample players like the novation circuit for example? Is the volca sequencer that much better?
Love this btw
Good question! Maybe I should revisit my Circuit with the exact same samples and see how it turns out.
This really is very impressive. I'd like to know if the samples were all loaded on or did you make this with the stock samples? Korg should be paying you.

True master at work! Congrats! How did you use the FXs? Before transfering the samples into Volca, right?
Thanks! I add external effects as I'm recording the song into my DAW (FL Studio). I pan some samples left and others right so I can apply two different types of effects to the percussion and synth/pads. External effects are necessary to get a more stereo sound imo.
How much work does it take to do this? Isn’t this essentially like a clip launch workflow but on the Volca?
Yes, it's very similar but the limitations of the Volca Sample can force you to rethink how you would normally do stuff. So that's what I like about this machine. Creating and curating the samples does take some time for sure.
Hope korg is paying you bcose i bought a vs after i saw this
No, they don't care haha. But I'm glad you like it!
Why my volca sample had grey on the sides???
Hmm I dunno!
how to add samples into it?
The easiest way is to use Vosyr www.frederikson-labs.com/
It's ok, maybe to much variation for my liking. Let the beat rhythm continue onwards.
JFC I really want to see your take on breakcore.
That's a great idea!
I made an attempt to create some breakcore here czcams.com/video/JzX2tvpxfhQ/video.html
