- Wicked is relative. The most famous stepmothers of all time share some unorthodox parenting advice. "Difficult children will take advantage of your good nature", so if you need some inspiration for those lazy, spoiled, and rotten children, these "mothers" will walk you through what to do. Did You make disney villains lair 3 there Can be sing Is Ursula Maleficent Evil Queen Jafer Mother Gothel Hades Dr.Faciller Cruella Devil Queen of Heart Captain Hook Lady Tremaine Her Daughters Drizella and Anastasia (did you like my idea 💡❤️😇😊)
Thanks for the subtitles, they help a lot who's not a english native.
This keeps getting more and more WICKED!! AMAZING
Too bad there aren’t male villains as “fathers” it could of been a great video, can’t wait too see the next video
I love the songs and actors and everything 😁 But it would be really great if you could add Scar in the next episode! You should use a human version of him like in the Lion King Musical😊
The villains' drinking glasses says a lot about their character.
Evil Queen: a wine glass- sophisticated.
Lady Tremaine: a tea cup- proper.
Mother Gothel: a beer glass- brute
I did not observe that until you point it out. And i watch this video 100 times. Good job and thank you.
yes
Another reason for the beer stein is because it's sort of medieval styled. Mother Gothel is described as being a bit of a fashionista, but out of date. Her dress in the movie is sleek and elegant, but from a time period centuries before the events of Tangled.
@@countolafexe makes sense when you take into account that she kept herself alive through the flower, who knows how long she’s been in that dress.
@@phrog2125 in the movie, she’s from the renaissance (which was 400 years before the events) but in the series she’s 1000+
"She was crazy!"
"She was talking to the mice!"
I- valid point...
That's when you get therapy
Makes me realise that maybe Lady Tremaine's cat wasn't so bad after all, he was trying to keep the house vermin free.
Ikr
Actually it makes sense…
Well, considering how the Tremaines treated Cinderella, I can't say she was wrong for befriending rodents.
In the evil queen's backstory she actually adored Snow White and thought of her as her own daughter not a stepchild. And she loves the King with everything she had. But she was emotionally shattered when her husband died, and fell under the influence of the magic mirror. It was SO sad.
I never knew that
@@darkfirecomics5826 Villains aren't born they are made. If you read her story you will end up rooting for her to overcome her issues even though you know the outcome.
Is this the version with Sigourney Weaver as Evil Queen
@@ruijosephinearciaga1030 No I am talking about the Disney Villains books. Fairest of Them All.
Yea, Disney has a series called Villians by Serena Valentino! It details the villians backstories, and how the original characters, the Odd Sisters, interfered with their stories and helped them become the villains they are! Its really good, and I would definitely recommend you read it!
So I just want to point out, the evil step sisters have a scary talent. It's one thing to sing well and have it sound pretty, but to sing well and on pitch while still sounding like a strangled cat takes some talent. That's some real talent.
As someone who takes vocal lessons I agree. It involves so much technique sometimes that it gets in the way while singing the way you “have to” sing for your character. So balancing both vocal and acting skills can be challenging.
@@kataleah1798 I was both a choir kid and a drama kid, so I'm well aware of the balance the singers in this case had to achieve. Very impressive.
@@aliceiannayoust307 hey! Choir kid buddies!😊
@@kataleah1798 I loved it, but kinda lost my range aster I graduated from mot singing as much.
@@aliceiannayoust307 I was involved for like ten years until the pandemic. Now I’m too old for this specific choir😅
I love the choices defining that there are three different characters here. Gothel isn't royalty she's just a woman so she allows herself to be dramatic. Lady Tremaine wants to climb the social ladder so she has very tight and dignified movements but she still has to move. The Queen barely moves and even those are very tight and smooth truly regal I love it!
Yeah I noticed that too
Yahh
yeah you are right
Not only the movements, if u just listen to the song and not look at the screen, their voice expressions were amazing, the voices sound the same as the original. Especially the way Lady Tremaine say “hopelessly” and the way Gothel being dramatic in some part like “nagging”, “they only have themselves to blame….” and being soft in other part
The voice of the daughters too
Fun Fact: Mother Gothel does have a biological daughter, Cassandra, but she was treating her very badly too, so she really doesn’t want children
She's a heartless and evil woman who only cares about herself.
Is that Cassandra in the tv series you're talking about?
@@billslittlecorner5165 Yes she is talking about her.
@@billslittlecorner5165 yep
I'm still wondering who's the FATHER of Cassandra. Her biological Father.
This is the thanks I get: who are you?
Tough Love: I’m what you should have been, a real, f*cking, villain song.
Here from the Fiery Joker, art thee?
real
I love everything about this, especially Anastasia and Drizella's parts. Their voices are "ugly" (like in the movies) yet so in tune and satisfying to listen to.
I like how Drizella and Anastasia are completely chill with this song about Child Abuse. They're probably thinking "This totally won't happen to us!"
Drizella an Anastasia: ugggg yeah we HATE children. They deserve NOTHING!
Mother Gothel: Her tower even had a view!
D and A: MOTHER!!
That's pretty on point for "golden children", actually. They think they're the exception - until they find out the hard way that they're not.
Anatasia just so happend to find out before Drizella
You seem to be confused dear confusing tough love for child abuse.
You see Bill Milliken described tough love through the expression.
"I don't care how this makes you feel towards me. You may hate my guts, But I love you, And I am doing this because I love you."
Milliken strongly emphasizes that a relationship of care in love is a prerequisite of tough love.
And that it requires that loved ones communicate clearly. Even when he or she consider themselves unworthy of love and find it difficult to believe that others love them. In most uses there must be some actual love or feeling of affected behind the Stern or harsh treatment. to be defined as tough love ... For example : doing a chore that is either given or asked of him or her and getting him or her to do that chore. He or she won't receive any form of reward ...
Tim Hawkins has described tough love as putting "principles before popularity."
And allow loved ones to learn through failure.
Plus the failure of not complying ...
Tough love is the act of treating a person Sterling or harshly with the intent to help him or her in the long run.
I think they think it’s “normal”
Is it me or do the villain's always have the better songs ?
It's pretty much become a norm over time.
Why is this so true!? Just one can there be a song for a hero that doesn’t do the whole “follow your dreams” bullshit, we all know ain’t nobody got time for dat.
Yeah...I like villian's songs then Hero's songs
Agree
They almost always do
I love the way each villain communicates their stories. Tremaine sings with her daughters, in a trio, showing her using them while also working with them. Evil Queen sings while using the mannerisms of a simple conversation, showing how refined she is. Gothel acts very dramatically, like she's in a musical, mirroring her mannerisms in Mother Knows Best- this is even accentuated by her making a reference to the musical Chicago.
A musical performance, a stage performance, and a speech.
The woman who played Mother Gothel had the perfect voice for it. I legitimately thought it was the voice actor from the movie. They all sounded amazing tho
No LITERALLY!! When she hit those notes it took me to Mother Knows Best
The VA who plays is a Broadway actor and singer. That's why at 2:23 her lyrics are a nod to the musical Chicago.
EXACTLY! not enough people are talking about this!!!
The woman who played Lady Tremaine here should be the official Lady Tremaine of Disneyland 💖
Kate Llensey Gumaha same with Mother Gothel, sometimes I forget it's not really her! They're fantastic!
Feige Katarina goodness! Let’s just say the three of them! 💖
Yes✋😆😆
Yes!! Probably
the actress who play Lady Tremaine so talened
I love how they are all singing about them hating children and children ruining everything and the sisters just singing along like You guys are her children too
To be fair, she didn't share any blood with Cinderella. She was just stuck with her after her second husband died
The evil stepnother actually love her daughters, it was just Cindy who was in her way
@@spiritiss2293 but the sisters are the stepmother's children too
@@sydneecook400 But it still counts even if Cinderella was her stepdaughter she is still her daughter just not biological
Actually three of them had similarity, stepdaughter?
Mother Gothel took a W. The actress nailed her expressive mannerisms, sass, and talking with her hands. Her look screams Cher which was part of the original design. And her voice is perfect. They even gave a nod to the musical Chicago at 2:23 because the original VA of Gothel is a Broadway star and singer.
Pure Win.
I love how their hating on children in front step mothers daughters😂
I literally thought the same thing!
The other 2 moms hate their kids at an amateur level. Evil Queen tryna catch a body
Legit
The woman who played Lady Tremaine oh my god. She's amazing and this is a masterpiece. The acting is so on point and those voices are perfect.
4:02 her wicked facial expression is just too good.🤩🤩🤩

It's one of the theatrical movement techniques but i forgot the name. Basiccally when you move to your final action it's really fast but you slow it down with a rhythm so it's really rhythmic and smmoth

Kat Castle I love the line and her face expression of “ Cruel and everything in between” .. she is such a good actress I must say.
I do love the actress who plays Gothel. She's got Gothel's dramatic mannerisms down perfectly. Though, have to give credit to the other actresses as well. They're all seriously amazing in their roles.
Drizella: She was lazy!
Anastasia: She was crazy!
Drizella: She was talking to the mice!
Me: You’re so right!
…on ONE thing.
I love the little details of the villains and from I remember from the movies, they act similar. Mother Gothel is very dramatic and acts like a actress from the Shakespearean times by the way she moves her hands and stuff. Evil Queen barley moves and just sits there unless she's singing, almost intimidating. The wicked stepmom is not doing to much and trying to act proper.
Why does a CZcams musical have better costumes than full budget Hollywood movies?
THIS is how you adapt cartoon costumes into real life.
I love how they are all complaining about how all children and teenagers are terrible and how theyd be happier living on their own and Anastasia and Drizzella are just over here agreeing with everything
I know right. They're practically getting insulted by their own mother and they don't notice! XD
Anatasia becomes good in the sequels though.
@@ShainaCilimberg I know. The second Cinderella is my favorite for that reason. But then the third cinderella messes everything up... Eh at least she still ends up good

And did you notice that when they said a toast, each had their own drink in their hands.
Gothel has a pewter mug, Tremaine has a porcelain cup, and the Queen has a glass goblet.

I don't know if it's intentional or not, but Anastasia is always a beat late when criticizing people, as if she's waiting for her sister's cue if it's something they should do. I think it's a nice detail since she's the one who got a redemption arc.
The woman who plays the irl Mother Gothel in this looks EXACTLY how she’d look if Tangled wasn’t a cartoon. She’s perfect. All of them are💖
The actor for Lady Tremaine is honestly so good. The other two do an amazing job portraying their characters, but she makes her character genuinely seem like a sociopath. The expressions, the hand movements, the clearness in her voice - everything is perfect.
All the villains are perfect but...i gotta say the makeup artistry on the evil stepsisters is pure flawless perfection and the actresses facial expressions and gestures...flawless af. I'm so impressed, and thats not easy.

Lyrics:
Lady Tremaine:
Ever since I was a girl
My own mother vowed
I must find a way to power through a noble brow
I married once for love
Then my senses came
I must marry for the stature of my husband's name
Onto marriage number two
I knew what I had to do
My poor husband fell ill in a year or two
Solved problem number one
Now to problem number two
His doe-eyed little girl with a gentle point of view
Would I ship her off to school?
No! I told her if she stayed that she'd have to earn her keep
And so she became the maid
Step-Sisters:
1 - She was lazy
2 - She was crazy
1 - She was talking to the mice
Tremaine:
She was hopelessly naive
So she had to pay the price
I moved her to the attic out of sight and out of mind
I could have thrown her out, but I'm
Benevolent and kind
Step-Sisters:
Mother, your heart's too big for you
Tremaine:
I knew what I had to do
After all, difficult children will take advantage of your good nature
So you lock them up
Throw away the key
There's one on every family tree
Step-Sisters:
1 - Ungrateful
2 - Hateful
Both - Vile too
The things she put you through
Tremaine:
Break their spirit so they obey
Now they'll do anything you say
Maybe you'd call it cruel but others would call it love
Tough love
I ask you, is it a crime to strive for perfection in all things?
Mother Gothel:
Oh no, they're so cute when they're little but
Then they grow up and just
Ruin everything
I never wanted children
Life was better on my own
All the screaming, nagging
Chilled me to the bone
But then one day I came across a flower growing free
It's magic kept me young
So I kept it all for me
But someone dug it up
Now a baby held the power
So I "borrowed" her
Locked her up
And hid her in a tower
Years went by
Oh! The sacrifice
And against my better judgment
I fed her once or twice
Teenagers now I know
I wild eat their young
But that's messy
Manipulation's easily more fun
A little guilt
A lot of force
Of course you have to lie
Remind them that without you
They'd shrivel up and die
They only have themselves to blame
If you'd been there, you'd do the same
So work them hard 'til they fall in line
There's one way and it's only mine
Evil Queen:
Children are lazy
Tremaine:
Spoiled too
All:
But we know what to do
Evil Queen:
Govern them with a heart of stone
Tremaine:
Lock them up, so they're all alone
Gothel:
Maybe you'd call it cruel but
All:
Others would call it love
Tough love
Gothel:
Oh, her own tower with a water view
And she runs away the first chance she gets
Evil Queen:
These wretched brats think the world owes them something, but it doesn't
Far and wide I rule the kingdom with a heavy hand
But there was more I had in mind
A greater plan
I never cared to share
So the king would have to fall
But his child blocked the way to me and
"Fairest of them all"
She was chubby, she was dumb
And grotesquely optimistic
She needed structure in her life
She wasn't realistic
I gave her chores
And took away the things that she'd enjoy
But then I caught her singing songs
With birds and then a boy
Love?
Was I to just sit by and wait
For her to take my crown?
No! She had sealed her fate
She had to go
And so she did
And you know what they say
"An apple once a day keeps your enemies away"
Don't be fooled by their tender smile
Tremaine:
Give an inch
All:
and they'll run a mile
Our idea of a happy home
Is one where we live all alone
Gothel:
Dark
Tremaine:
Depressing
Evil Queen
Desolate
All:
Now let's all drink to that
Step-Sisters:
Call us wicked and call us mean
Tremaine:
Cruel and everything in between
Gothel:
You could say it's unjust
Evil Queen:
Turning their dreams to dust
All:
This is what we call love
Tough love

Can I be honest when she said “she’s unrealistic “ is honestly true in a way even though it’s a fairy tale if u think realistically in my opinion
damn this song is so manipulative it almost makes me think that the villains are actually the innocent ones.

Yeah ABUSIVE MOTHER OF THE CENTURY !
the actresses are just amazing, the facial expressions and body language make them look like they are genuinely talking to eachother about this, and in the facial expressions you can see discust/any emotion that they are trying to portray
Also their portrayals are pretty amazing. Evil Queen and the stepmother are more poised, cool and collected, showing that they are royalty/noble, while Gothel is more dramatic and expressive.
@@gizemgonenc5342 Yeah!!

The actor who plays Mother Gothel really master the dramatic acts
That song is a summary of every entitled, narcissistic and overly strict parent out there
So ... Basically all Boomers and a good part of Millenials...
When the Evil Queen said 'but then I caught her singing songs with bird's Lady Tremaine was like 'wtf? birds?'
i think the shocked expression towards the "and then a boy"
I love how Cinderellas step mum is talking about having no children when her children are right next to her 😂
Gothel's first line was.. accurate. You may already understand it, but if you watched the series - you'd understand it more..
"Break their spirit so they will obey. Now they'll do anything you say."
Cinderella stepmother expression and acting were perfect at this moment. Overall, her expression, the way she carried herself, conduct, her glances and acting were excellent.
Also at the moment: "Mother, your heart's too big for you " -> "I knew what I had to do". Her glances were so excellent.
This is an actress is fantastic
I love Evil Queen's saying "An apple a day keeps your enemies away."
An apple once a day keep any one away if you throw it hard enough
Being scrolling and literally no one talking about how the evil Queen gave us vocals on the DESOLATE that was soo good
