It is a very good book for beginners as well as for those that are already into czcams.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt A very good basic ebook to keep as a reference too. I like it and the way the subject matter is presented. It has humor and that helps with the reading.

You guys are harsh!!!!!!!! The guy is doing a good job and is probably Scottish ancestry like me. I started this work after retirement as a severe amateur progressing to handyman, after 4 years major rehabber. I started with a manual screw driver and was dragged kicking and screaming into power tools ( why would I buy power tool when a manual screw driver cost nothing----I know,I know! But you ain't Scottish) now I have multiple rental properties and I am all power, but it was't easy--the guy did a nice job and I would hire him for my crew.

Thanks!!! Great clear step by step instructions. Not everyone has a garage or workshop full of expensive tools to build something. You use the sort of tools most people have so this build becomes doable for almost everyone at a far less cost than buying a ready made shed around this size or hiring someone to build it. I need to build a lean to on my garden shed for my gas snowblower so it is easy to access and is weather protected. Leaving it outside also means it is more likely to get stolen.

Perhaps consider storing your (hopefully) NEW AIR COMPRESSOR and accessories in there since you built such a substantial addition (with back wall and gate). Then park the push mower behind it and throw a $5 Harbor Freight tarp over it. replace tarp yearly. Good job and I'll post my attempt at a shed add-on soon for public scrutiny.

However, I have a question. How do we weather proof the sides which back up against the back wall. I’m anchoring my shed to the wall of my house. I have a brick veneer house, but the concern would be the same regardless of it being weatherboard or brick veneer. My concern is when it rains directly in that area (back house wall) or when the wind pushes the rain in that direction, it will rot out the back wall. Does anyone here have any ideas or suggestions to deal with this? Thank you guys in advance 🙏

Great beginner job. This will teach a lot of does and do not. Only way to learn is to do the work and you did the work. Don’t let the people talking smack put you down. Granted most of the smack is just why you didn’t do this or that. Some people don’t have all the tools or don’t realize they do but you still built it and it turned out okay. Could it have been better? Yes but still good job.

You got it done and probably learned a 100 ways to do it better next time! Good work. Some tips if you want them... Using torx screws will save you time and money. I reuse them over and over again because they do not strip out. Throw that drill and saw in the trash and go buy some corded ones if you don't want to invest in a set of batter powered Milwaukee or Dewalt. Using low quality/dull tools will waste money and get you hurt in the long run. Now excuse me while I go built a lean to off my garage.

Apart from the obvious like top soil under you're slabs having a cordless drill and using a screwdriver having a utility knife and not using it .I could go on but I have to ask with no disrespect intended is why you put the door on back to front ?

How to make a video that inspires others to make a gofundme account for the creator of the video(to buy proper tools). But as has been said before a great build with minimal tools. Painful and inspirational all in the same breath.
