- We were recently invited by Chevrolet to try out the all-new 2023 Chevy Colorado in California. While there, we tried 3 different trims, the Work Truck, the Trail Boss and the Z71. We will hopefully try out the new ZR2 soon! The Chevy Colorado and the GMC Canyon have received extensive redesigns and lot's of tech for 2023. All Colorado's come standard with the 11.3 infotainment screen and wireless Apple Carplay. The Colorado can tow up to 7,700 lbs when properly equipped and is available in 3 different 2.7-L engine outputs.

Waiting to see the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor. Then pick from Canyon AT4X OR Ranger Raptor. Redesign Toyota Tacoma coming out also.

will be ordering a new Colorado , either Z71 or Trail Boss. Once I see in the flesh i will decide , but leaning to towards the Z71. Not a fan of the Ford Styling or the look of their Maverick/ New Ranger

Definitely getting either Colorado or Canyon later this summer. Waiting to see the ZR2 reviews then I'll make a decision. Like Colorado exterior and Canyon interior. Price will influence my decision.

I like the way Dodge handles seating in my Durango with cloth in the middle and leather edging. Looks premium, but feels better than straight leather.

I like the cloth seats better in the Lt Colorado . Chevy should have added the chrome cross bar on the front faceoff the grille with gold bow tie. The black cross bar on the LT looks cheap

Never seen your channel before. Great review. You reviews are certainly a step up from the channels that focus on offroading/trucks and love how your feedback seems to relate more to what I would be looking for without being cookie cutter.
I have had leather interiors for 25 years, but I will opt for the cloth interior in the new ZR2. Love the yellow stitching and yellow seatbelt package that matches the Nitro Yellow paint. Way better than the GMC AT4X leather interior IMHO.

Nice video. But those aren't 18's at the 8:02 mark. Those are options 20's.
I prefer Leather over Cloth, I find the Leather to be more supportive and firmer. But I must have the Ventilated seat, I find it very useful on a warm Spring day when A/C is not required. The only feature in new cars is the Auto Climate control I hate it. Very hard to fine tune the temp and fan speed. But I will say over the years it has gotten much better. As for the Yellow I think its more of a Gold or Burnt Yellow not my first go to but it works on the truck. I think this is one of the few vehicles where White looks good.
I love cloth. I picked my F80 M3 ZCP up because it was the only one I have seen with cloth for sale. So much better on the track than slipper leather. Upscale cloth is certainly unique. The Canyon AT4 has an interesting looking cloth option.
Cloth seats are better than cheap imitation leather that in hot weather you sweat and stick to the imitation ( naugahyde ) . Cloth is so much more comfortable.

@@gordmonteath6090 I’m in Maine. We don’t do markups. I added the hard bed cover and tech package and Bose. 54 usD. The Z71 wants too far behind it after adding what I wanted.

The Chevrolet web site to configure Colorado sucks! What is the real starting price on a work truck 4 wheel drive? What ab out options so confusing.looks like only two.
The Chevy website says $30,695 USD for two wheel drive low output engine Work Truck and $33,995 for 4WD.

Don’t buy leather if it doesn’t at least have perforated seats. Otherwise you’ll have a sweater ass crack for years. I bought this, and ended up putting a cloth cover on top. Next vehicle definitely cloth or perforated cooled leather. 🌬️

Leather is a con, like diamonds. Diamonds are useless rocks and leather is hot in the summer, cold in the winter, hard, uncomfortable and slippery. Fabric makes more sense but we have been conned into thinking it is a "luxury" item so the car makers can get some extra revenue. Bring back fabric seats!
Not if heated or cooled!
Todays leather is pretty good, then you add the heat or cooling and it is that much better. The way I consistently spill my coffee it is also much more sanitary as you can wipe it of and on occasion use a good leather spray to keep it soft and attractive
@@Fezington1 There are plenty of ways to make fabric resistant to stains and moisture more cheaply rather than paying extra for something we have been conned into believing is a luxury item.

I am not a PETA guy, I love grilled and smoked cow muscle tissue. I was pissed when I bought a car that only came with leather and the only option package that included cooled seats was an additional $12,000 and I had no interest in any of the other things in that option package. So $12,000 for cooled seats!
