- On October 1415, as the pale dawn of an early autumn day broke over Agincourt, a mighty French Army numbering 30,000 men surveyed the small English force who stood before them ready to do battle. The French expected a comprehensive victory, but as a day of great savagery unfolded, it was the English led by their charismatic King, Henry V, who would utterly destroy their enemy. Narrated by Brian Blessed.

It is Brian Blessed - but it could be Matt Berry. Pretending it is Matt Berry makes it much more fun.
I’ve heard that Benjamin Franklin wanted to field archers because archers had a greater range and rate of fire than muskets.
This is crazy information, I don't know how to deal with it.
I’ve heard that fastest musket fire was 3 in a minute. 10 arrow shots in one minute. Whoa!
The physcological effect of barbed tipped arrows had to be extreme.
However I doubt there were many American men of the time who could draw and shoot a 140 to 180 pound war bow like those used at Agincourt or Towton.
Those Welch and Englishmen trained archery from an early age.
It was an informative and wonderful historical coverage episode about the Agincourt battle at 1415 between French contingent and British invaders... where long bow combating proved theirs superiority in battlefields.... what was notable from 1060 forward English used several advanced tactics and more modern devices against French.. they gained victories ✌️...long bow was not only one
Awesome video thank you
The voice has Brian Blessed’s singsongdelivery nut I think it’s Stewart
The most I listened this more evident it’ Brian Blessed
An excellent documentary. The narration was well done, with the re-enactors providing historically accurate portrayal for the period.
Narrator is the mighty Brian Blessed. The absolute best in the business.
Try Sir Patrick Stewart
music too loud and not necessary.
Wot!! No "Band of Brothers" speech???
