I did my micro link 3 week ago and I already have to take it off. Is been a nightmare.
My hair is curly thin always down. Took care of it well. I have about 20 strands fall and I can see it ripped off my own hair. I have many micro link half way about to fall out. Horrible experience.
    Why would this happen?

I recently had microlinks w/weft installed. I had it installed at a Dominican hair salon near Philly and it turned out amazing. Reasonable price at $95 for 4 wefts. I had more of my top left out. Total time to install and style 1.5 hrs. I actually asked for a partial sew-in and the stylist told me she does the microlinks. Of course I asked her general questions before the install. Do it damage the hair?.How long can I keep it in and can I wash it? How much does it cost to take out? She replied, there's no damage when installed properly. It can last a month or more depending on how you maintenance the hair. It can be wash n re-tighten and of course the takedown is free if they are the ones installing it. The style is very versatile and looks very natural.

Hi Simone, I tried itips too mostly based on your videos. You do a great job. Can you clarify when you say this is a protective style? I always thought protective styles are styles that your ends are totally put up. You are not touching or manipulating your ends. How are itips a protective style when all of your hair is out. 0% of your hair is protected, so I’m confused.

Yes @peepla7 they both have glue on them but the I-tip uses the bead to attach the hair without glue on your natural hair, whilst the U-tip doesn't use the bead but instead the keratin glue is fused onto your natural hair.
