Why would you try to die
Pretty sure why you were sometimes able to take fall damage is this:
The mod was written such that your propeller hat only activates when there is three or more blocks of air below, but some blocks (such as snow layers) technically count as a block but have no hitbox. So the game treats it as there only being two blocks of air below you yet you can fall three blocks, and then take damage.
A way you could use this is to make a tower of signs, which the mod should treat as blocks, and then fall down them. Your propeller hat won't activate, but you will still take fall damage
TL;DR blocks without a hitbox are still counted (signs, snow layers etc), so a tower of signs wouldnt active the hat but you cant land on them so you would die.
This video would be 3 minute or shorter long. Also its just part of the video, finding way to make entertain us, making it short will only make it boring and less likely by the people who watching this video

I've found three ways to die with this, one is to suffocate while riding a boat into a one block air gap. For this to work, you also need a milk bucket to get rid of the saturation effect. You can also get a trident, enchant it with channeling using an enchanting table (trying to get a channelling book will NOT work), and then spam throw it at armorstands during a thunderstorm with the ground covered in bottom slabs (beware of fire as you get LOTS of regen). The third way is to go to the world border and pearl to the other side. Be sure to bring milk, as you will be given resistance and potentially saturation.
Could've used a piston and some redstone to put the dripstone higher and still be able to break the block above it.

When craftee was experimenting with fall damage. I know the basics of it. At the three block mark. You take 1 point of damage. 4 blocks, 2 points of damage. And so on. So the dev made sure that the propeller hat would trigger after detecting a 3 block drop or more.
I though you take 1 damage from 4 and then it works its way up

One thing you could have tried is death by entity cramming. Throw like twenty-five or so minecarts into a one-block hole or make an automatic chicken farm, then jump right in once the number of mobs exceeds the limit on how many entities can be in the same space. This will cause you to take suffocation damage, so you basically get crushed to death by a horde of chickens or whatever else you use because they're all contained within the same place.

There may be a way you missed. The way your dev programmed this is that a fire helm protects from burning and a propeller hat stops falling. If you fall WHILE on fire, you win.

This might take time but take red stone and connect it to a lever at height limit and place drip stone at the top connect the lever to the top of the drip stone and wait until it falls on you maybe if you use enough drip stone and you put it high enough it will kill you since drip stone does damage

the lava would summon a hat that heals you but the mod you use have one small flaw, if you run in and out of blue fire, you would take more damage than normal fire and evetually die. You can also use thorns to stab yourself while fighting the strongest enemy in the world, 'armor stand with full thorns init' makes the rare death message of dying while fighting armor stand.

There's actually a super weird way to die so you go up enough so you would die of fall damage at the bottom of your giant pillar you put a waterlogged rail and you go all the way up use a minecart and fall on the waterlogged rail and then you ded

Here's my plan.
Step 1) combine the max of Instant Damage, Hunger, and Poison.
Step 2) aline it with a piston that breaks the drip stone
The potions should keep his health low enough that when the drip stone falls he immediately dies.

@@IbiIbi3 you only take damage every half of a second (10 game ticks) but the totem get put in your offhand as fast as possible (1 game tick) so that would work but i think you die regardless at a certain depth in the void so maybe youre right
