Dad - please check 2 channels. 1. Van and Bubu (with their piglet and puppy friends) from Vietnam, and 2. Sakis with all the babies he’s bought from markets, rescued and raised them, and released them back in the reserve parks in Indonesia. They are both the best with happy, monkeys.

Something is off with him he acts like hes starving but hes not drinking maybe check the inside of his mouth to make sure theres nothing going on in his mouth. Id take him to the vet

hi. At the moment, I am monitoring him.
I conveyed the Vet through the phone call (because near my hometown, there are not any animals hospital foe monkey). They said that just need to monitor that hand 1 more week. If it has swollen or something bad. Go to them, if not it will be ok, because sometime it is not a problem.
I will pay attention on him and go to Vet if needed.

All you can do is keep working with him. The more comfortable he gets with you handling him the better he’ll do. He has to learn to suck from a bottle and that’s half the battle with him eating and then in turn gaining weight. All you can do is keep working with him hun. ❤
One thing I have realized watching all the baby monkeys is that….. Monkeys DON’T like laying on their backs. Just my observation.
You are right. They want to make sure they are in safe. They only lay back when they are happy playing and there are not dangerous. 👌👌

He is playing on me at the moment. I create a baby monkey sling. I can bring him anywhere even I am working.
Wawa seems to have a strong dislike to trying new foods. Perhaps take the milk he was drinking and very slowly add the new flavors.
He behaved the same way trying to get him to drink milk.
You might also try feeding him in the exact same location every time so he associates that space with eating.❤❤❤❤

You really need to quit handling that monkey like it's made out of glass and like you're going to break the damn thing, you need to show assertiveness so it knows who is alpha right now that monkey runs the show.
I think he is too young to understand anything.

Good morning! You don't see he is growing bcuz you are with him daily but he is growing. He has more control of his legs and his eyes are very bright and alert. Wawa is cutting teeth so he does not want to suckle. You might have to feed with a tiny syringe so all he has to do is swallow in order to keep food in him til his teeth come in. It's only a suggestion. If you feel he is doing ok with bottle than that's fine. You are the one with him daily and you know best how he wants you to hold him and feed him. I see everyone's comments and just amazes me how people think these tiny ones this small can eat Everything older monkeys eat. We have used refrigerated apples cut up to help babies with teething. The cold soothes their gums. Plain white rice cooked is very easy for these tiny ones to digest also. The thing with introducing ALOT of fruit to their diet this small is it will give them diarrhea which leads to dehydration. So push fluids every few hours and you should be good. Baby will go through alot of changes in next two weeks so your patience is greatly appreciated. Most people do not understand the commitment and time it takes to care for a Primate. This is why we do not recommend they be pets in the U.S. I retired and miss my babies every day. I found these channels and thought maybe I could help. It was very hard at first bcuz most of these people are not really interested. They are just making videos for money. So many are caged all day and only taken out for taping. Than you run across one like this man and TRULLY makes you realize there ARE GOOD people still left in this world. I hope anyone watching pays attention and can see the difference between them.
