I thought that this was a good episode if only as a cautionary tale. On one hand you have Porsha wanting to make a baby and cobble together a parenting structure to suit her and in the same episode Matt's family, which appears to be in tact, trying to vet out the crazies before him and Kenya reach a point of no return. Then you have the train wreck of Candi and Sheree's relationships that shows what happens when you don't consider all of the repercussions of your relationships and take these serious decisions too lightly.

I think that you're right Rox, it is nice that the new girlfriend tries to encourage her man to be a better father. HOWEVER. If he hasn't been doing it; it's highly unlikely that he will do it now. And I know first hand, if he does it while he's with the girlfriend then after he breaks up with the girl he will go back to being the same way he was before. So girlfriends, mind your business. If you become wife you maybe can encourage more, but you can't do it for them. They are gonna do what they are gonna do.

I'm Team Kandi on this one. It's hard to not want to stop your child from having a relationship with a bad father, because you know they could be hurt. But kudos to her for being the mature person. Great review like always, but as for Kandi and Riley situation I know that all to well, when the father don't put in the effort to be apart of the child life and then have the audacity to say Im not gonna keep calling her, as a Mom you take that crap personal because your child is worth the effort and then some. That makes the Mama Bear come out and you get over protective and then it can turns on the switch to say YOU dont give a 2 f&#cks about what he say and feels (or like I used to say just remember to have someone contact me so I know what color to wear to you funeral) you dont ever have to see that jerk again until that child is old enough to decide if she wants a relationship with him.
