- Hey guys! This video is blowing up, so I just wanted to clarify some things and shameless self plug since I'm in need of some mo. (This is the last edit I'll make to this comment I swear)
-The thumbnail is not a spoiler don't worry! The art you see is over 2 months old way before Splatoon 2 came out, this is simply an artist's interpretation.

Thank you all so much for 40,000 subscribers! As I get older it warms my heart to see so many of you still watching/listening to my stuff. The channel is over 4 years old and I honestly never thought I would ever make it this far. You all have my greatest and most sincere thanks.
**SPOILERS BELOW**
So this is my final boss remix for Splatoon 2! When remixing this I didn't know Callie and Marie had their own themes in Splatoon 1 which you could unlock using their amiibo, so that made this song even more special to me as soon as I found that out. I really loved the way they combined the music together to make it sound like Marie is fighting to help Callie against the brainwash. You can also think of this as a sequel to my first final boss remix, where I include bits of the Squid Sisters theme again as well as some of DJ Octavio.
**END SPOILERS**
It's not my best (jeez I say that for like every remix now huh?) but I still really loved making it, even though transcribing the song was a bitch. All in all this took about 11.5 total hours to make, which was most of my week. Enjoy!

Honestly, I feel a cool thing this boss missed out on doing is having you physically fight Callie. Like, we know from splatoon 1 she likes using rollers, imagine how much cooler the fight would be with you having to face off against Octavio while Callie is trying to splat you, and you can't splat her or it's game over.
And then phase two has Marie trying to snipe Callie and occasionally giving you an exit when you're completely surrounded by ink from Octavio's assault combined with Callie's bomb rushes.
And then phase 3 is really just a victory lap as you slam the rainmaker into Octavio's ugly mug.
while that would be a nice hard final boss, it could very easily be unfair if Callie's attacks aren't balanced right. i would say she should jump out of her spot in the... airship... thing? every once in a while to attack and then jump back after a short period, but maybe Octavio shouldn't attack during that time for the fight to be fair.
@@Voidmoth1Inner Agent 3 style but smaller. Jump out, try to run you over for a bit, but since you can’t splat her and get it over with you just have to run away from her while dealing with Octavio. Maybe the fist ends up hitting the speakers, and Callie has to go fix them, and that’s how Marie slowly pushes her music in

Actually: Calamari Inkantation is the final phase theme from the FIRST game.

This was a huge step up from your Splatoon 1 remix. I don't think it was bad but I felt some intensity was missing. This remix excelled all of my expectations.
