- Hello everyone, welcome to my latest explore; an abandoned funeral home...though much of this property is locked up tight.
While I encounter no grisly or outright horrifying things here, I do get to view the small prep room at the start of the video. We all deal with death differently; and while I've seen (and filmed) some disturbing things in my adventures, I feel like this might add more of a personal reaction to some viewers that may warrant this disclaimer. (I can't explain, and don't fully understand why I feel this way, but I'd rather do more than less, in how I present certain things to my wonderful viewers).
Anyway, I thank you for watching, I hope you enjoy this...I was happy to see what little there was to see, and even happier to not end up going through the floors!
As an urban explorer, I don't give out specific location information publicly, and I do not vandalize, steal, destroy, or force entry into locations, and I do my best to respect the integrity of the site and anything associated with it. Urban exploration can be a dangerous and illegal activity, even when proper precautions are made, and I do not intend to encourage or inspire others to undertake this activity due to a direct result of my choices or experiences.
That item, in the prep room, that you called workout equipment is actually a body lift. It’s used to lift the body from the gurney to the embalming table, and from the embalming table into the casket.
Ohhh, I didn't even think about that! Makes perfect sense...thank you for clarifying. 🙂

They don’t do autopsies in funeral homes. That’s an embalming table.

Interesting spot man! Haven't come across any funeral homes in my journeys so this was a unique spot to see.
They're not so easy to find (at least in my travels...but even the rough looking ones are pretty fascinating. I should have a new funeral home explore coming out in about a month; I don't think it'll disappoint. Thanks for watching and commenting!

That is an embalming table. The body gets stuck with one hose pumping formaldehyde in while another hose coming out of the body drains the blood onto the table. The blood draining out of the body would collect in the groove around the edge of the table and run down to the drain.
What a awsome explore if only those lights could talk thanks for the walk through cheers.

I thought so, too...quite a grand little mimi-mansion! I would've liked to have seen the rest of the inside, but the floors started off terrible; probably wouldn't have been much better inside...fate conspires to keep me safe! 😉

Thank you for watching and commenting! This is a pretty cool place; wish I'd been able to get further in, but the embalming room was pretty neat. Not totally sure, but I think they used the heads for wigs and/or for practice training with the make-up and hairstyles before applying to the real person.

If the building is still structurally sound someone should snap it up and convert it into a home.
Really interesting and I your documentation was awesome. Do you have any idea why and how long it's been abandoned? It might be interesting to find out the history of this once beautiful funeral home.
I think it's way beyond restoration - very sad.!

It's just incredible and so sad that nobody wants to restore this beautiful house...I have not had much success with finding info on it; though I did find out the company's name. Seems like they possibly 'upgraded' to a newer location, and just left this one to rot.
Did anyone else catch the name of the hair spray in the cupboard? That was very nice. Too bad these old homes are left to rot. Bet it wss gorgeous in its prime!!😀❤❤🙏🇺🇸

While there's nothing blatantly horrific (except maybe the floors), I felt it'd be a good idea to warn more sensitive viewers about the prep room walkthrough. But then, I may have been overthinking it, considering the oddness I explore on a regular basis.

To see if we could get the most out to do this world together and then go to work in an area of the country where you have to go and you have a good idea of the kids will be a great time to be able and the kids and the future is that I have been trying and trying to the edge this emergency was a new phone call for the future is that I have a few more things to be ten the same exact times as the other one to the you are going to work
