- čas přidán 31. 01. 2016
- (Ftr: a hi lift jack was used because the doors had seized up and had to be broken loose, the jack is not necessary if the doors aren't seized)Here is how to take the doors off of a jeep wrangler.
The featured jeep is a 2000 wrangler sport with a 4.0l engine and automatic transmission.

Great info. I was ready to trade it in !
I had to use a floor jack and overhead hoist. If you use a overhead hoist and straps out something in the window track because it will squeeze it closed or at least tighter. Replaced the bushings with Delrin bushings and lubed with white lithium grease. Mine were so seized it actually moved the hinges. I'd recommend placing painters tape along the hinges for reference in case they move. I also had to use a dead blow hammer to drive the bushing out, tape a rag on your door to prevent damage from a glancing blow.
Cool video. You can also use a block of wood between the jack and the door.
That’s what I did but instead I used a floor jack with blocks of wood on top. If you didn’t paint the fender flares yet you can bring the black color right back out of them again with a heat gun.
good vid. Also in TX #AllMuscleNoRice
Mark zuckerberg?
What about the wiring and how the inside car lights are activated?
Sorry for being a year late but you can either take out the fuse (behind the glove box) or get a switch that turns off the door jamb fuse itself
