No, the 900 was only for tests (at Dakar 2012, as D-Cam (just in case) .... long time ago.... now we're using lots of equipment but 90% are the Panasonic Cams and SLR's

Meh, IVECO (Magirus Deutz) trucks (your air cooled engine of your MAN comes from Deutz) were there already almost 45 years before you and their trucks didn't even have AWD nor military-grade tech in them.
And they helped to build a railway line of 3200km length and on many other projects long after the Soviet Union was gone.

Magirus-Deutz wurde erst viel später an Iveco, und somit an FIAT verkauft.

If it interesting that I keep reading from Russians comments that Tatra trucks are the best, yet here is another video where the truck of choice for venturing in one of the world's harshest environment is once again Man.
A tatra would have probably worked at least as well, as much as i like the man they are a german, not a soviet design and on the german forum for man kat you can read that one broke down and couldnt be fixed on site, ended as a trailer for the rest of thhe trip. Also these are cold war era military special design trucks that were basically made specifically to follow tanks invading russia and while man branded, they are not purely man, but were designed by all german truck manufacturers together

The yellow trucks they are using are german cold war era military trucks, slightly modded for siberia but mostly stock, everything else on the roads is probably russian unless you recognise the brand
