So great to see Watson scoring tries with a smile on his face after how he was dismissed from Bath.
Love seeing passionate Dan Cole 🤣😂
Shame doesn't know about clearing out the ruck legally. Then his passion may be useful.
I think the first try was a banger merry Christmas
Albert Tuisue 💪🏽
Great game, loved being back at Welford Road
Solid win, well done lads! COYT
cracking game
Porter proving his class once again!
He’s the most one dimensional and average player ever, especially in an England shirt, I’d say Kelly makes him look better than he is
A hard disagree from me, but okay.
@@StanWilks a hard disagree? It’s pretty simple really, he struggles in defence and is absent 90% of the time in attack which for a 13 is inexcusable. He fits into the same category as Daly, Ford and Goode, players that are good for club but can’t make the step up to international effectively
Some might say they stand corrected, but I still disagree. Haha.
@@StanWilks fair enough 😂 I can’t force you to have higher standards haha
Great to see Gloucesters tactic of resting their first choice team against Leinster paid off 😃👀
Hopefully we'll see Watson back in an England shirt come the Six Nations.
He has competition from the likes of Hassell Collins but he’s so reliable. I’m sure he’ll be in the squad
Tbh I would like to see a few of these Leicester players start for England kelly and Porter have been great Freddie steward and van portfleit have been amazing all season I think maybe it's time to see Marcus Smith take the 10 shirt and run a game with Kelly and slade outside him and tuliangi on the bench as an impact sub!
@@sandopie1234 I'm not sold on Porter defensively but as an attacking threat he's excellent... Kelly I'm almost certain will make it into the squad! I'll be interested to see if Borthwick tries both Smith and Farrell at 10. I imagine he'll start Farrell and bring Smith on as an impact playmaker. Seeing Farrell controlling the game with Kelly and slade on his inside with players like Watson/OHC/Arundell on the wings could be very exciting.
Agreed but isn't arundell out with a foot injury? I think it's just time for a manager to come in and play players that are playing well no favourites! The best player will play kind of thing! I do think he will go for Farell becuase it's the safe option and let's be honest farell is brilliant but I would like to see smith in a refreshed team given the rains for 80 minutes!
Kelly for England
Evn if Cole hadn't have held him that N°8 would not have had time to plug that hole. Looks possible in slo mo, but in real time he only had a fraction of a second.
Straightforward clearout by Dan Cole. We see that 100 times in every match.
The ref looks twelvish, he might be new.
Shouldn't hold onto the 8's leg on the ground. Problem is Itoje et al get away with that type of bs every week
But if it causes a try it’s fair it’s watched no?
Harsh for Dan Coles. It was part of the ruck
Jonny May right off the mark in defence??
If you are outside you are on the ground not the floor. A floor is inside of houses and buildings. So if you are tackled outside you are on the ground.
what?
Those on 5live said it should of been a Try.
Could be the England backline
Jonny May way off the mark in defence!! imo Gloucester far to narrow in defence!!?
Between Cole and Itoje, I'm beginning to think the forwards coach of all english teams is Tarantino.....serious foot fetish there ! xD
Reservoir Dogs but Dan Cole is the mole.
Premiership developing a more entertaining brand. I mean the standard is dogshit compared to other European comps but at least it's good to watch.
Gloucester has soon as it comes to Xmas Gloucester choke Richard cockerill right you don't join Gloucester to win trophies Gloucester like Newcastle football team big on fan's but no trophies there no good away from home 😲🏉🦁
Can everyone pray that my aunty suberna finds a husband.😛
Sorry but rugby union is steadily becoming unwatchable as half the game is focused on the referees endlessly deliberating about the minutiae of plays.
First try is one of the worst reffing decisions I've ever seen. Embarrassing.
Not really. He wasn’t allowed hold the players ankle while he was on the floor. Created the gap to run through for the Leicester player.
You're right. Cole should've gone to the bin. Cynical as anything
that dan cole clear out isn't illeagal theres no law saying you have toi let someone go
Yes there is..."A player must not intentionally prevent an opponent from tackling or attempting to tackle the ball-carrier." Cole was no longer part of the ruck, was therefore offside and was off his feet - as far as the laws are concerned he has to get back on his feet and onside before he can take part in play.
I thought it was a bit harsh when I watched it live, but letter of the law, it's correct.
@@Savoycabbage but he cleared him out in a ruck not a tackle
@@Savoycabbage when your in a ruck anyone in the vasinity you can pull them into the ruck you dont have to let them go
@ashcrouch9570 nope. You are only part of the ruck if you are on your feet and bound in. Once you leave your feet you are out of the game and cannot interfere with any player who is on their feet. Cole did nothing wrong in the clear out but had to let go the minute he's off his feet
@@ashcrouch9570 He was holding the ankle of the Glos eight, stopping him getting to the carrier. Get over it, you won for God's sake.
