We almost QUIT RVing... and then we bought a new bus!

- The Skinners are DONE with RVing. JUST KIDDING!!! They do have a big announcement about a big change in their RV adventures though... they bought a new bus!
A lot of thought goes into buying an RV, so Mike and Angie are bringing us along for the journey.
Buying a new RV can be a very stressful experience, so Mike & Angie were thrilled with what a wonderful experience they had at Blue Compass RV! They had big plans to travel the state until they found the perfect RV, but Blue Compass was really responsive to the wish list Mike and Angie put together and worked hard to find them the perfect bus. Once Blue Compass found it, there was no point in looking anywhere else!
When purchasing an RV, the first major decision is the price range. From there it’s time to make a list of things that you would like the RV to have. After looking at over 200 RV listings, the Skinners finally found their bus! They decided on a 2019 Entegra Cornerstone! It’s fitted with real Quartz counters and real cherry wood. We can't wait to take you on a tour!!

Our heart was set on a Dutch Star, but when the time came that we could pull the trigger the right one wasn’t there. But, we found a lightly used, 2018 Ventana 4369 at NIRVC in Dallas. I can’t say enough about the experience with NIRVC, and after two years, and another 25,000 miles we couldn’t be happier with the quality and reliability.
We loved our 2018 Entegra Aspire. We never had any issues except the Samsung refrigerator which was replaced under warranty. It unfortunately, sat in climate controlled storage for most of the time except track days at Sebring and Homestead, a trip to Mountain Falls and a handful of motor coach resorts throughout Florida. We sold it during covid to a family from California escaping lockdowns. If we ever get another we'd choose an Entegra, hands down the most bang for your buck.
We agree. I honestly feel it’s the best out there in that price range. Functional. Big motor. The right tires and that closet!!!! Yassssss

If you come out west we have a spot next to the house in town with a 50 amp if you want to stay a few nights and drive up to Estes park for a day. Thirty minutes from the mountains, fifty miles North of Denver and fifty miles South of Cheyenne Wyoming! More than welcome

Like you guys I just traded and I went for a Dutch Star. For us our must have was the escape door in the bathroom, next was the 365 tires, and last the 605hp motor. Well we got 2 out of 3 on our wish list. This is our first coach with the tag axle and wow does it ever make a difference towing. I should change our wish list to 3 out of 4. Cheers

Good luck with the Cornerstone. We have a 2001 Featherlite H-3 that we absolutely love.
Have fun and be safe with the new coach. I always drove Prevost Entertainer coaches and most were built by Nashville Coach, very well built coaches. These were built to go down the road and get lots of miles on them and stay together, where, Featherlite, while a good coach, doesn't see near the miles. Prevost still has the best chassis out there.

We have a 2020 Anthem and enjoy it a lot. Not sure if you have seen the retro band that goes inside the front tires but added safety for blow outs.

We came to Mountain Falls on your recommendation and absolutely loved it. Our only problem was the GPS took us through Pisgah National Forest to get there. Yep. We had to detach our Jeep and I followed him through the switchbacks holding my breath as he maneuvered the RV through the turns.
I hate that happens to people! we need to fix that for sure - but come back! @@tinaharrison5126

I follow you, I always wanted a Newell and a Prevost. But 2 years ago, because of my budget, I bought a Entrega Cornerstone. I've had 8 different(cheaper) coaches. Iam 100% happy with my Cornerstone . The service dept. A++ keep rolling and grate videos!
which service dept are you using??? we love it so far too!

You did not discuss the unit when in road mode, which was an important feature you were looking for.
We had not traveled enough - but Skinner drove it to Atlanta race and said he LOVED the power and felt it drove very smooth - obviously the Prevost chassis is the TOP but he said the Engtegra surprised him!
Looking forward to your new adventures in this coach and to what you have to show us.....!

so far so good - parking at Bristol this weekend and I have enjoyed the Entegra! only issue thus far has been battery life when it went for some service work, they left unplugged and drained them down .. guh! I LOVE the giant closet in the back
Very interesting video!! Always enjoyed watching Mike race and Angie on Sirius with Moody. We are looking to going to a class A from our fifth wheel. My wife and I are full time rving and are from Orlando. We have a budget of $300,000. Would love to find a Newell but it would be a 2010 or older it seems. I too loved the Foretravel (same dilemma). Realistically I’m thinking Newmar, American, or Entraga. I’ll be real interested to see your up coming experiences. I will be subscribing and can’t wait. Happy trails!!👍😎🇺🇸
I honestly feel the Entegra is the best bang for buck - especially in that 300,000 range - that was our budget too. we went a wee over .... Blue Compass RV is Orlando has a good selection or Scott our sales man there will find you something - tell him we sent you. He found our friend from Mtn Falls a great RV last week! The fore travels were nice too.. but we got most all we wanted with the big engine and tires in the Entegra - I feel any model pre covid may be a bit more solid in the wood work - and countertops are real quartz
