- No. 25 Louisville moved to 6-0 after a decisive victory at home over No. 10 Notre Dame, 33-20. It was a massive game for star-RB Jawhar Jordan, who carried the ball 21 times for 143 yards and scored two massive touchdowns for the Cardinals. The Louisville defense was stout as well, shutting down Notre Dame’s rushing attack by holding the Fighting Irish to just 44 yards on the ground. Cardinals QB Jack Plummer went 17-24 passing for 145 yards and a touchdown, and his favorite target on the night was WR Jamari Thrash, who had 8 catches for 75 yards and the score.

Notre Dame and a lot of these teams are put in the top ten for one reason and everybody knows it’s not because they are good or play tough schedules, love it when it blows up in their face
I can usually agree w this. ND has a very tough schedule thos year though.
Notre dame has an insanely tough schedule every year and has some of the toughest academic requirements, not to mention south bend isn’t somewhere a lot of young athletes want to play. Notre dame has a lot of disadvantages that people like you refuse to acknowledge
Ohio state, duke, Louisville, usc, Pitt, and Clemson all in a row, that’s an easy streak of games to you?
Yeah they only play Ohio St, Duke, USC, Clemson, etc..this year
It makes some sense when a team actually has a recent proven track record, but ND certainly seems to have underperformed and consistently blown their biggest games for a few decades now. They get their annual preseason top25 ranking based on history and a handful of big names but typically finish well off where the hype would have you believe. They do well vs the creampuffs but their record against teams that finish in the top 10 and the playoffs gives a better picture.

A very smart quarterback in Plummer, great defense, running game is outstanding along with passing yardage. Once this team gels they got a chance to beat really good teams. This coach is really who they needed for a long time.

I wouldn't put Clemson in that list. Because FSU already has beaten Clemson. But I would say if Louisville do play FSU and Duke or North Carolina then they wouldn't stand a chance against them. Because I'm not that high on Louisville like their fans are.

We only beat one ranked team last year, and that was #10 Wake Forest, with him as the QB. This year, we beat #10 Notre Dame, with him as the quarterback. We either have his number, or he just plays really bad against us. Either way, GO CARDS!!! ❤
Idk how familiar you are with Jeff Brohm but he had a reputation for having his team ready for big games. Purdue was in the big 10 championship last year for a reason

You always have to take the Irish rating and multiply it by 1.5 for the Goodwill they get, just for being ND. They were probably a 15 ranked team, at best, and I bet they won’t even be ranked by the end of the season.

This was the exact game ND went and got Hartman for. The issue is ND oline is bullocks in pass pro and Hartman is tiny thus when hes pressured, especially up the middle, the ball, naturally, sails on him.
And while yes they do look like over throws but I think its just a simple case of Hartman needing a highchair.
