This is great - being able to follow the notes under the yellow line. Here there are just 2 instruments. What must a chorus in an oratorio look like - with all those musical instruments and all those human voices ! Handel must have had the mind of a " super-computer " - or something. And no electric lights, either. Just lamps and daylight. No wonder his eyes gave out.
Is this articulation correct? I send my students to a competition. I want to be sure that the articulation will be OK. Is this someone who deals whit the articulation of baroque and can confirm this? Tkanks for the quick reply:)
Hello, I studied harpsichord and baroque flute and in my opinion, these articulations are historically informed. The original source from Handel's publisher doesn't provide any articulations and the performer needs to provide them or rely on an editor's interpretation.

Listen to the first ten seconds. Then listen to “Comfort ye, my people” from Messiah.
I'm doing this for solo and ensemble. I cant figure out what the decorations was on the d# to e in measure 10?? but it was really pretty
I am so confused. Is this a synthetic instrument playing? It's the most expressive and realistic I've ever heard on any program.
Hi Apostastrophe, yes, it is a computer playing using finale software.
thanks for the upload!
