EPIC New Zealand Adventure: Aoraki/Mount Cook, Hooker Valley, Mueller Hut!

- Welcome back peeps!! We've made it to our most HIGHLY anticipated destination yet on this road trip - the BEAUTIFUL Aoraki, Mount Cook. This place has been on our bucket list for a looooong time. Everything about this place drew us in, and you'll soon see why....
After leaving Otago, we made the drive up to Mount Cook - stopping at some crazy cool rocks, which you'll definitely have seen if you watched our last episode. From here, we embarked on our most beautiful drive yet, along side the pristine blue waters of Lake Pukaki with the majestic Mount Cook beginning to appear in the distance. We pulled up to White Horse Hill Campground - the main place to camp if staying in a Camper, RV or tent! All of the main hikes can be accessed from this camp spot so we definitely recommend staying here! (also an absolutely stunning place be).
On our first day in Mount Cook National Park, we tick off the Famous Hooker Valley walk. We can see why this is the most popular walk in the area. With an easy, family friendly track and views that take your breath away, leading you to an iceberg filled lake and mount cook as a giant back drop.
Then... the main event, THE MUELLER HUT HIKE!!!! Topping the list as our hardest hike yet in NZ. Crumbly rocks, steep climbs, giant steps and LOTS of views, lead us to the Mueller Hut.A little red hut sitting in the middle of snow capped mountains, overlooking one of the most insane sights we've experience yet on this whole trip. We finish off by parking up at the best freedom camping spot around, Lake Pukaki.

P.s. This whole series was filmed on an iPhone 12! We were pretty impressed with the quality. We also used a RODE external microphone - we had a few issue with this, but still managed to get some good quality sound in most videos.
