- TheCGBros Presents "Roald" - by ESMA - Roald is an anthropomorphic toad who perceives life in a cute, cartoonish, and colorful way. Here comes his birthday! Roald intends to impress his guests he expects to be numerous, but sadly, nobody comes. When suddenly, the doorbell rings and Roald is about to make an unexpected encounter with a paranoiac fly, whose point of view is drastically opposed to his.

It's about how others perceive us and how our self-esteem doesn't match the outside view. Rough, but honest.
Wow! That teetering between sweetness and horror! Thank you!
Very clever! What I got from it was that it's a story about perception, not just in how the frog perceives that it is the 'good guy' just having fun in all this, but it breaks the fourth wall in the sense it's also how the viewer perceives who is in the right and who is wrong.
Wow that was dark
I was hoping the ending would switch reality to the middle. Not too sugar coated or too gloomy.
Predator perspective vs. prey perspective.
It shows that the viewing and deep inside feelings sometimes are the opisit.

It’s perception. The sweetness is the frog’s view of the situation and the horror is the mosquito’s view of the situation

Both and not one at the same time. Each of the heroes sees the world differently from what it is.

Think of Roald as SpongeBob, whereas the fly is Squidward. They have a optimistic and pessimistic world of view, respectively.

Well the way I see it it’s a story about perspective the frog see a world of color and joy juxtapose to the fly who sees a dark and horrifying point of view
