Ever since I was a teen my favorite part of the song is when JC comes in. The song is all soft and pretty, then he busts in with that gut wrenching emotion you feel when heart broken. It's like the entire song builds up to it. Ugh love it. Is it just me?

It is Highway robbery that Jive sabotage JC in order to push Ramen head! We all missed out cause JC is the kind of talent that is a once in a generation type of musical talent, not just with his 4 octave + range but in dancing and in music composition and he is also a multi-instrumental musician that can play multiple instruments like Prince too!
If there is one singer that should have a solo career here, it should be jc. He has the highest musicality, versatility and very nice tone! He is the real beast singer here!

Then picked the songs JC never wanted to begin with (like those horrible singles meant only to be joke songs to get things out of his system). Go and listen to JC’s second album (that got shelved by Jive before JC parted ways with the label). The Story of Kate is absolutely beautiful, especially JC’s song “You Ruined Me.”

Joey snapped on "I Thought She Knew", but never heard him sing lead on most of their songs. Eff all this JC stuff, all 5 of them are bad. For real. Coldest boy band easily, with pure vocal talent.

Sorry, but Chris started sharp. Look at JC's face. Justin almost brought it back where it should be, but when JC starts all is back on track. He must have perfect pitch, because he is always on key, and saves the rest on a lot of songs. You want to know why his mike is a little higher? I think this is why!
It's sad that we rarely got to hear Joey's vocals and vocal ability... he could go all the way down to baritone to connect with Lance and all the way up towards chris' range.... he was basically the vocal gap filler of the group with his range
Yeah it sucks but he'd noticeably be missed if he weren't in the group, same with Chris Their voices are too distinct and integral to the sound-- and not many people realize how much that means in a harmony group until you take one of them away i.e. him connecting one voice to another during the chorus, Chris to Justin , Justin to JC
As a fan of *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, I would definitely compare Joey and Chris to Kevin and Howie in the BSB, in that all four members were hugely underrated for their contributions
They had the band at the back, might as well had the electric guitar solo. And since they went with the Lala vocals, JC should've done the high downwards "I lie awake" since that's the best thing that came from that version.
Not Chris' best performance. I fear the sound in his earpiece was too loud. JC and Justin would appear to have their sound check on point as they hit all the high notes and powerful notes from from the studio album.
Since there appear to be some in deep NSYNC fans out there, might I say, I also was of the impression when JCs verse came, he recognized how poorly the performance as a whole began (fan's perspective) and took it upon himself to end it with a bang. But in the recordings Chris's voice is very unique and extremely high. It would be hard to sing live and solo with his voice because it would be hard to key it right all the time. He was a good harmonizer. JC was obviously always the anchor of the band though. His strength always reigned supreme.

Way more relaxed than he usually sings.
(For example) when he landed JTs run in the end, i was suprised! And justin probably was as well, and suprised at the attempt..."thats why he smiled". Lol Jcs vocals just not reliable at all times.
Tough to open and sing those kind of notes live. It's a very high note and pitch to start out, plus it's solo. I definitely agree, so far I've listened to two of these live but will keep searching
