- I climbed the sacred mountain of Gunung Singai. There is a church camp half way up this mountain and yearly sees thousands of pilgrims. It was an amazing hike!

Do try climbing another holy mountain up in north Sarawak named Mount Murud, where it was said that during a prayer service at Ba' Kelalan in the 70s or 80s, can't remember exactly when, there were fire balls in the sky.

OMG! At first seeing the Amorphopallus plants was so tempting, but then you compared it with Mt Santubong & mentioned how steep it is! I give up!! 🏳
to me, Mt Santubong is way more difficult than this Mt Singai. this Mt Singai is still a short and easy hike. it is only very steep at staircase area but it is short while. dont get discouraged.
The long houses need a cleanup as well. Keep everything clean to respect nature

You can do it! It's a fun hike. Take it easy and you can make it to the top for sure!

Kibin! I have been dreaming of climbing the summit for years. I barely made it this time. I would say it's about 80% santubong... So be prepared when you go. At least 3L water!

Hey! There isn't. But there are some other lodged at nearby mountains, like Mendung Escape.

One of my favourite areas in Sarawak. I went there for s trip, many years ago. We camped just above the eastern Julan falls, hiked down to the base the next day, and explored the plateau. One of my best memories ever.
