Treble booster - Vox AC30 TBX - Bohemian Rhapsody

  • Here I am playing through a treble booster that I wired on a breadboard for testing purposes. The treble booster is the "Cornish-ish" circuit that can be found on Greg Fryer's website. The guitar is a BMG Special and the amp is a Vox AC30 TBX with a post-phase-inverter master volume set very low. The normal channel is turned all the way up and the cut control is turned all the way down. I learned this solo just before I made this clip so it is not 100% accurate.

      It is a homemade treble booster. The schematic can be found on Greg Fryer's web page. He calls it "Cornish-ish" treble booster.
