- The Urbino family is a series of low-floor city buses produced by Solaris Bus & Coach SA. The series was introduced in 1999, the latest, 4th generation debuted in September 2014 in Hannover.
This mod includes:
- BVG version of the 3rd gen. Urbino (12 & 18 m models)
- "fictional" version with ZF gearbox and electric doors (12 m model only)
- numerous repaints

these used to mainly (still do but rarely) drive around in my city instantly recognized the engine sound as soon as the engine started and tbh they're AWESOME busses just break too quickly
The line number and destination wont show on mine even tho i had entered everything correctly? Help?
And the Urbino 12 4/Urbino 18 4 look futuristic even tho they were made in 2014

Hello, I was wondering if you have an mod installed that automatically leans the bus or if you just have a key assigned to it. It seems that your bus always leans when you open the doors. Thanks!

These people do not get on my bus when the bus kneels... I have chosen the correct Hof file and typed the IBIS codes correctly. How do I fix it.?
Try using the ALT menu, by selecting the destination and number manually from the bottom right menu (ALT) but then after that all you need to do is change the ibis

Bei mir wird am Solaris keine wagennummer ( z.b. 4370) angezeigt. Egal ob ich ein repaint dran hab oder das standard repaint drin hab.

Hey dude when im playing omsi 2 with this bus i cant get it to move the engine is on and no handbrakes or station brake are on but i can still not gear up to drive its just staying on neutral any idea why and how i can fix it do i anything wrong?
Oh and its saying false route when im trying to type in the route help me please.
Press the brake while putting the bus in D. It's the same on every modern automatic bus.
You need to select the right .hof file for the map, it's at the depot section on the bus selection screen.

Did you choose the right .hof file if you spawn in a bus? You can choose below the bus spawn witch ibis system you choose if you choose a other map the bus don't see the route

Routeres1994 I was on Spandau 1994 and I was at Falkensee Bahnhoff (Mispelled, I know) and I had the time set around then, and the train never came. Do I have a glitch in the AI system? I've never seen any train go by on Spandau.
Set the timetable priority to 4 in the options.
How it is download
Download it extract it then put it in the Omsi2/vehicles folder
Just got the game so im rubbish, but I can only start that bus then rev it, I take of the park brake and click drive but it doesnt go into gear or move.
You have to push the break pedal when you put the drive gear.
How is your game so smooth, when you come to a stop etc. My game freezes for a short second when I stop. Can you help me?
Disable the autosave feature in the menu. If on, the game saves every time to come to a complete stop, hence the freezing.

This "passenger-activated" door thing seems dumb. I find it so much better on Citaros, how you can open each door at the driver's wish. Passengers shouldn't be able to open doors through the stop requested button, when the safety's off. Then again, buses shouldn't have safeties. And with that... I can say Ikarus buses were the best. I mean, what other bus do you know that you can open the door while driving?
You just compared a brand new bus to a 40 years old one. Yet I still prefer travelling with an old Ikarus. :)
Door controls may differ from city to city, but passengers can't open the doors through the stop request button when the bus stop brake (~safety) is not applied.
BAZ, LAZ, LIAZ and other postsoviet shit can open doors while driving.
Even the Mercedes Benz Citaro model made for Romania can open doors while driving, but that's cause it was (1) made without a safety at the request of different companies and (2) because different depots messed around with their sensors and shit. But don't call those buses shit. They're not that bad.
***** Our drivers used to do that too, since the driver's cabin takes up one half of the front door. Now they can't do that, since all our buses are Citaros. But it used to be possible with the Ikarus, DAC, Iveco, etc.
Routeres1994 We used to have other great buses too. For example, the Romanian-made DAC was quite a great bus. Same with the Iveco Turbo-City. And none of these actually had safeties.

ferrarieustratios Alright. My current personal favourite is Tettau, a fictional German intercity map. Then Prague and Szczecin, big and detailed city maps, Walbrzych is also a fine piece of addon, set in the middle of the 90s, my map deserves a place on this list as well, Börzsöny-Fictional 2, and you can find plenty of other maps on the official forum.
