The biggest blunder of Indian independence is partition. It is because of this same partition, we see unrest in J&K . It is because of same partition, Bangladesh is even in existence. It is because of same partition, Khalistan is even an issue. An issue both the US, other western, china and Pakistan use to harm India. We would not have terrorism problem or drug problems at borders. We wouldn't have to invest that much in military right after independence. Pakistan would have never got nuclear arms. China would not have able to build infra in Pok, and threaten India's strategic connectivity to Afghanistan, Central Asia. We would have direct borders with Iran, and Afghanistan, giving us a great autonomy over the waters. We would have even greater access to eastern Europe, making our way to western Europe. Would have been more closer to our Arab partners. Even Bangladesh is solely because of Pakistan was once made, we would have never see china building roads, ports in Bangladesh, Pakistan which technically was India's territory..We would have been a more great land mass, and our power would have been bigger, and we might have won war with china. We would have been the biggest market since independence and might have been beneficiary of the opportunity china got in 19980-1990s by trading with the west. Literally 😢
