    I dont usually post, but im a white revert and ive met this organisation many times, the top people in the organisation havent taken a penny.
    They have 63 centres in the uk alone, around 8 islamic universities and all students study for free.
    They have to pay teachers and building costs and so on and each year are building more and more mosques.
    The leaders in Pakistan are all business men / scholars who dont take a penny from DI they self fund all their travel and teaching.

I didn't listen to Hajji or the Pakistani moulvi in the video as both of them don't know how to read charity accounts (especially the moulvi, as he's not even from this country). I only looked at the accounts document. The masajid/madrassahs are the charity, and they spent the money on running them. The wages were 8 million in the past year but there's other running costs involved when you have such a big organisation. The part that says "charitable donations" probably refers to the money they gave to other charitable projects, if the moulvi brought up this point, he's a retard.

    Clearly bro Hajji knows nothing about Dawateislami
    If he did he would understand that firstly it's not only a welfare organisation. It's an organisation to spread the Deen. They're model for this is to build masajid and education centre, for both Quran education and islamic studies. If he had bothered to look into this he would have realised that these centers like every other building have expenses, such as utilities, staff wages. And that where the majority of the funds go. This is well known by those who donate to this cause. Furthermore they have very stringent policies on how to spend funds, for instance if someone says this money is for the Palestinian cause then it can only go to that cause. If they say it's for making masajid then it can only go there.
    All in all bro Hajji didn't look into anything, relied upon the words of a neo-rafidi mufti who doesn't know how to read a basic balance sheet.
    I mean the guy was thinking gift aid is some sort of free gift from the uk government. "Other loans" are interested based loans.

      @@Bbb82744 wait but what's the issue with the finances exactly?
      DI has masajid and education institute. And running then cost alot of money, for instance the utilities, the renovation, the cost of employees. Imams and scholas that teach cannot work full time for free, they need a wage unless you're suggesting the imam and ulama should work fulltime for free?
      And the people donating know what they're donating for, it's all advertised, that "you're donations will go to Jamia tul Madina, or Madrasa tul Madina. And these services are all free of charge for the community to use. For instance DI do not take fees for teaching the Quran or for teaching islamic science. They rely on public fund, I personally don't see anything wrong with the finance record. Yes there would be an issue if DI advertised as a welfare only organisation and then took the money to run masajid or madrasahs but that's not the case here.

    I affiliate with the Sunni Barelvis, alhamdulillah Dawat Islami have done excellent work in educating this Ummah for over 30yrs. You must remember, in the Shariah, donating funds to a madrasah ie to educate students is also classed as zakat - according to hanafi fiqh, but on a lower level. However, Bro Haji is correct in calling out appeals made by D-I not being spent in those areas, I have suspected this for a long time & you will get 0% accountability on this from D-I bc most of the nigrans behave like thugs when their pir or organisation is questioned. Sad reality. Only £5m out of £33m spent on relief is disgraceful & shameful.

    • @aaamak47
      @aaamak47 Před 4 měsíci +2

      Nope zakat cannot be given to a madrasah. It maybe given to students who are eligible for zakaat. Once the students have been given the zakaat, they may then pay their fees with it.

However, usually in typical madrassas, zakah money is used to feed, clothe, and fulfill the necessities of needy students, who are legitimate recipients of zakah." D-I educate 10,000s of their students (all over the world) for free, so donating funds to them is classed, on a lower level but still accepted as zakat, as I said. Sunni Barelvis are strictly hanafi.

      @@farryqaadir8812Are you saying that the Hanafi position is that zakat can be given to organisations for the provision of services to the poor? It's not really anyone's right to choose how the recipient spends the money.
      It's a bit unclear the revelence of mentioning education? The recipient should receive the money, not just "the benefit". You can't chose to pay for someone's education and call that zakat. The poor person should get the money and choice of how to spend it.

      @@Mehmet_Fateh the hanafi position is from Mufti Desai (in USA), not me. I'm not an Aalim but a student of ilm. You must respect the fatawa of scholars, not what you think is right. Zakat appeared in one common form during the Prophet's (SAW) time, now life & how we live has changed massively so the fatawa of the scholars is valid in accordance to the Quran & Sunnah. Secondly, zakat is a vast topic & includes things you'll never find any evidence for in Bukhari or Muslim, for eg crypto-currency. Scholars guide us on how to pay from this electronic currency. Thirdly , preservation of Islam is only possible thru scholars & students, most in Pakistan are very poor, so to contribute to their cause you can donate to the madrassa. My emphasis is on "can" or mubah (permissable), otherwise, zakat is paid to the needy miskeen & poor.
