Many of us in the vinyl community love all mediums of music, including CDs, tapes, streaming, and some people even collect eight tracks. My one piece of unsolicited advice is to just do your thing and be yourself and enjoy your music in your own way. Don’t feel bad for participating in the Walmart sale. You can support your local record stores and also enjoy a good sale from time to time. It’s not an either/or situation. I love Noble Records channel and Melinda Murphy is a sweetheart. I subscribed to your channel; can’t wait to see your journey here. Two channels I think you might really enjoy, based on your taste in music, are Aaron Mutha alamare and Ron Haggerty’s Vinyl Sanctuary. 1984 was the first LP I purchased at 10, I also had the Bilie Eilish, the clear Target pressing, but then moved to the CD version as the bass was better on my system from the CD.

You should check out two CZcams channels as well the first is a cool channel called The Flip Side and the guys name is J⚡️C I think you will like it.. And. The other Channel is by a guy named Aaron Mutha Alamare his channel is super laid back. Go check their channels out and tell them Craig C recommended them to you... Rock on🤘🏻 God bless
You had a super cool driver if he was playing KISS on the school bus! I was glad the label reissued Gin Blossoms on vinyl. Should be easy to find. Great album above and beyond that one song that got a ton of air play lol. Had fun watching, welcome to the vinyl community!

Welcome to VC !! Doing videos can be so much fun. Nice GnR pick up for $15. I cannot stand Walmart... but understand it’s an almost necessary evil. I do shop there and when I do, I sing by the vinyl bins! You are right about watching videos... they’ll cost you. 😂

The real test for any new or reborn vinyl junkie is to listen to Captain Beefheart Trout Mask Repilca album right to the end . It is the craziest album in the world . It has excellent guitars , drums base and vocals but it's whacky as hell .

Personally I don't stress about Japanese or first pressings. That's a collector's mentality and I'm into records simply for the music. Of course, your mileage may vary, but for me that's an expensive rabbit hole I don't need to go down.
Be careful the vinyl Community is a mix of people who are extremely nice and people who think they are better then you because of what they own and what they know.
