People stop asking her how to apply for a visa, I mean its not that hard to figure that she is a european therefore she does not need a visa to work in Iceland and she has no idea how to get one

This is only a summer job and luckily you don't need any degree for that= I'm an art teacher so honestly I have no idea why they hired me ;)
ZuzArt did you like reykjavik? Can you recommend any neighborhood (a bit quieter than the downtown with all the bars) in reykjavik or any other city like akureyri? For living not just visiting for a week
Sorry, I've never lived in the city in Iceland... First Geysir area for 2,5 month, and now I'm 20km from Vik - so basicly in the middle of nowhere ;) Reykjavik is beautiful and life is probably more exciting than here.

Well... I think it's pretty easy to get a job in a hotel. The salary should be around 2000-2500 euro/month - it goes to your icelandic bank account once per month.
