With chem drake vision plant give you move speed, in some situation i feel like you could escape with this (maybee you knew but it's just in case you didn't)

Oh man I used to love playing Orianna way back when.
I get that you said that you disliked how you have to use the E or walk away to call the ball back, but that's the thing, even with her resistances with the ball on her, leaving the ball by the minions and poking enemies with it is a REALLY good zoning strategy. It is very easy to forget it's there and you can use that to trip people when they overextend.

I have been oneticking Orianna since season 7/8 and it is so fun. She never gets banned and she is never weak, but also never OP. She doesn't really lose any lanes if you know how to play matchups and I cannot tell you how many games I won off a single shockwave
Orianna was the first champ I mained.
I love that her kit is simple, but her playstyle isn't.

So the ball can be cast from where you leave it so it sometimes can confuse players as to the DMG potential...also I used to play her support because the ball gave resistances, and you could displace and slow enemies.

Finally ori getting some attention
Those flower blasts are so funny
As an Ori main, I really think people are overhyping these buffs. The #1 thing that Ori struggles with is her early laning phase. Being susceptible to ganks, and having big mana struggles. While yes, the mana cost reduction on her W does help, you should rarely be using your W in lane to poke anyway. It's better to poke with your Q more often. So they really don't help her in that aspect at all. And the change to her Q, while it does help her late game wave clear, it also hurts her early laning phase. You're going to have to be hitting 6 or more creeps at once to actually get a benefit from it, which is rarely gonna be happening during laning phase (basically the only time when it'll be useful is when you're using up the rest of your mana to clear the wave as fast as possible so you can back)
Ori's late game has always been her strongest aspect, so buffing that doesn't fix her struggle that she currently has in the lane. I really wish they'd of focused on giving her laning phase the buff. Like increasing the speed boost that her W gives, or having her ball travel faster as to shield herself quicker to run away. Thing's that she actually needs. Increased damage to her ult is definitely nice and can make for some sick team wipe outs, but it isn't gonna matter if you're still 2/10 from laning phase.
Her passive is pretty much the only significant buff that will help her laning phase a bit, but only if you're a seasoned Ori player. Most newer Ori players don't know how to properly weave in auto's with your abilities (I'm not a master at it myself). So I am happy with that one, even if it doesn't help her ability to be ganked so easily.
Not to say I'm not happy to see her getting all this attention. I love seeing Ori get more play in Pro's. I just don't get people's insane hype over these minimal buffs that barely change her overall usefulness in the game.

Can you do a full ult miss fortune? Did some testing on her ult and max damage is eclipse, collector, lord doms, quick blades, blood thirster and Essene reaver. Got the ult to do 4300 damage to a target with 300 armor, just not good enough to reach full build in an actual game.
