Hi. I just happened across your Flosstube a few days ago and I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your gentle spirit and lovely accent, as well as your stitching of course. Lol. I just had to comment when I heard you say you were trying to tone your accent down. Please don’t! As an American, and lover of all things Scottish and British, I just had to tell you it is part of your charm. I have recently picked up cross stitch and am enjoying it so much. I did some embroidery back in the 1980s and have been quilting for the last several years but I didn’t even know that cross stitch was popular again until I happened across some Flosstubers on CZcams. Now I am well and truly hooked! I live in a very rural part of Kansas and my only connection with other stitchers is on flosstube. Can’t wait to watch your next video! Kathryn

Just found you! What a great Flosstube and an even greater collection! I haven't done a sampler yet, I started cross stitching again about a year ago after a long break, but want to do one. Hadn't seen one that jumped out at me but have now - Jane Marshall is just so beautiful and I think will be a perfect one to start with. So thank you for the enabling! xx

About DMC vs silk. DMC has wonderful colors with a beautiful sheen. I often choose it for consistent dye lots and it’s agreeable price. In my opinion it is a great choice!❤️
Hello!! I came back to cross stitch last July after a 30 year break. Watching Nicola’s videos brought my love for samplers. I had never been taught what the samplers were about or the history. So you started off with my favorite designer of Samplers! Since I am starting late I will have to live to 150 to stitch all the ones I love to look at. I enjoyed the video! Hello from North Carolina USA. I do not have a local shop so I do have to order online to travel to get my lovely charts and threads.

Hello from Florida and I was hooked as soon as you said you where from Scotland lived in England. My mom was from Exeter and my husband ancestors are from Scotland. I very much like your floss tube. Love your style. I have had terrible difficulty hearing you though which is a pity as I would like to. When you speak out I can hear you fine so I don't know how hard that is for you. Hope to hear you in the next one wouldn't want to miss a word

Bravo! You are the first person I have seen stitching Maria Vincenza - I started this mid August and find it very relaxing and a nice break from another wips - which are just few. Your work is stunning and I covet all your HATS charts! I am contemplating which one would make a good birthday start next year! (it's a whopper of a birthday coming up). I favor samplers that have different borders on each side - or at least different on two sides. Will have to study to see - any suggestions? Looking forward to more episodes! Take care.
Your first floss tube was so well done😀. I loved seeing your beautiful samplers you are currently stitching and oh my how many very beautiful patterns you have from HATS! I have started my very first sampler in red thread, Ruth Gibbs from HATS booklet. I am enjoying stitching it and I was delighted that my borders matched without any frogging happening! Counting is hard but it pays off when following the charts.😀. Look forward to more of your videos in the future.🤗

Hi, Ellie! Loved seeing your Hands Across the Sea Samplers. Samplers aren't my "go to" designs, but I do have a few and always love seeing others stitch them. Just an fyi, and since I seem to be the only one commenting, don't worry about it - but I have a very difficult time hearing you. (I usually do when you and Allie film as well). I have no idea why as I typically don't have this problem when watching FT. Again, just an fyi - don't lose any sleep over it for sure. I've subscribed and look forward to seeing your next filming.
