Lore: Before the official release of Super Mario Bros. on September 13, 1985, Nintendo hosted their Unbeatable Sweepstakes. (HOLY HECKLE IS THAT A MARIOS MADNESS REFERENCE?) However, after the death of a kid named Lucas, the beta version had to be recalled.
Facts: This was originally posted on Twitter for RazzDazzleDoo, the creator of MARIO 85. I opened a poll asking if I should post this on CZcams, and the "majority" (the only vote) said yes.
