You see so many homes with these split concrete and grass drives. Its interesting from the U.S. to Austrilians homes. I think its nice to have that strip of grass, but I very much APPRICIATE the work involved carring for these yards. Makes me think its eco friendly. Im so amazed by your lawn grasses, just how resilient they are.... its crazy growth. The ease of your swing on whipper snipping, it flows gracefully. I litterally keep expecting horrible snakes to jump up at you. This yard is large, once growth is tackled back - you can see the size! Well done on this yard....

Huge improvement although basically they need a new driveway poured and would like to see the algae off the walls
The house and other structures just need to be torn down. Since they're garbage anyway. Removing the algae wouldn't make any difference.

It's just amazing how fast Nature can reclaim a place. It's a pity the house has been abandoned and just left to deteriorate, house and land I mean. I couldn't get over the size of that backyard! Holy moly, what would a section/block of that size be worth where you live, Jase? Anyway, you did a great job of the driveway. That growth was insanely thick! I'm looking forward to seeing you tackle that beast of a backyard!! The neighbours must be so stoked!

The house does look empty. Maybe they are getting ready to rent it out or sell it? They are lucky Jason came along because anyone taking on that property would be freaked out at the amount of work they would have needed to do on the property.

I have a couple of questions. Is there a reason why you don’t bag up the grass clippings & take them away? Every other lawn guy I watch in Australia does (Sean, Tim, George, Ryan & new one Tyler).
Also, are there concrete strips buried in the nature strips, or are people allowed to drive over them to get into their driveways?
I live in the UK and I’m just curious.
It's usually up to the property owner as to the driveway crossing the footpath. You see all sorts, full width concrete, two small runs just where the wheels fall, loose gravel, or nothing at all and they just mangle the ground with the vehicle. The council here rebuilt a footpath recently and laid down new grass strips. At premises without concrete / gravel the residents just drove over the new grass and mashed it up.

when i see all the water vapor escaping as you cut the grass....i think of mosquitoes......i live in New Orleans and that is what happens when water is trapped under knee high grass.....mosquitors or "Insect Vampires"
It seems as though every house bought in Australia comes with a divided driveway and a clothes drying umbrella-style drying rack. The split driveways make the grass and weeds in the center spread far and wide. The clothes-drying racks are nice until they catch your head or neck when you go under them. And then there’s always the little walkway from the backdoor to the drying rack that is always covered with overgrowth.

Also for my trimmer line i use .155mm its so thick it will cut down 1 inch trees lol. I did an overgrown yard with it and got most of it done without the blade.
