Stats & Strategy to Crush Weapon Trial 3, Stage 9 ASAP (Sword of Convallaria)

- I realized a few moments after my legendary sweep the nameless staff is not actually a staff, but a spear. OH WELL, still wanted it!
Fair warning, this run is not super F2P friendly, requiring Col and Gloria as the gacha characters. (And the $5 monthly pass for backtracks is super helpful for these kinds of fights.) Unfortunately there aren't substitutes available for account levels this low that I'm aware of, especially with the scarcity of radiant powder to upgrade our equipment. A legendary weapon for Angel may be required, my only one being the 🌽 staff (less than ideal, imo).
Overcoming this fight 20 levels early is no small task, and the main issue is simply having the stats to face-tank the damage it dishes out. Investment into solid Devil Tarots, Gloria's Judgement Tarot, and maxing out Angel's gear is essential in order to live through the dangerous early turns of the fight. After round 5, things become much more manageable now that your team has ramped up and the run stabilizes with Col's life steal.
Stats for each unit (on character screen before in-battle buffs):
Angel- 3311 HP, 636 Mdef, 1423 Matk
Col- 3147 HP, 540 Mdef, 1690 Atk
Gloria- 3357 HP, 436 Mdef, 1538 Atk
Rawiyah- 3627 HP, 380 Mdef, 1684 Atk
Falcon- 3178 HP, 463 Mdef, 1613 Atk
(not exactly the same team I used for my lv50 clear at all, despite what I said in the video lol)
Talent Trees:
Watcher- 70+6% HP, 54+6% Mdef, 110+5% Atk
Seeker- 110+7% HP, 50+1% Mdef, 145+5% Atk

Thanks for the guide! I was following someone elses but it wasn't working for me at all, this one worked a lot better. Though it almost fell apart right at the end... Col took the auto attack instead of Angel, so she died. Luckily I (just) had the DPS to chew through the shield and get the 3 star win on round 11.

Boss takes less damage per floating crystal alive, thats why that last nuke did less by rawiyah.

Thank you so much! Finally got a legendary weapon for my Beryl. I had to improvise towards the end because my dmg wasn't as high as yours but I pulled it off. I was on my last backtrack use too 💀

I FINALLY DID IT! for those also struggling (I was on this level for like 5 hrs tinkering with my build) you can also try DODGING the round 5 nuke by moving units away from the main blast. hopefully that helps you!
Amazing dude, I just followed and cleared it @ round 11 due to CFalcon mistakenly using skill instead of AA. so the buffers were still comfortable !!

it's crazy how op Col is on this trial, 95% of the videos I see about it use col to kill 2 adds per turn
My Gloria couldn't survive Apocalypse even tho have higher stats. (currently lvl43 with M.Def 462 and HP 3396)
same Trinket, same Tarot, just different weapon. (I use nameless staff lvl50)
I also trying my best to match my Watcher's talent tree with yours. ahahaha
I think those Lance equipped on Gloria also worth mentioning, since it also has a role in Gloria's survival :D
it gives more 10% defense when attacked.
Nice strategy, it works arround the same pace of yours, but i got an additional turn because i forgot the march once haha, anyways very reliable, thanks
Does angel m.def aura passive affect herself? Last time i check, it only effect other allies in range, and not herself

Hi! How do you record fights? I can't find anywhere a soluce on how to record my fights
hi! the game has a built-in replay system. it's the the swords on a calendar icon, right next to your daily mission button (if you're playing on mobile).
I screwed up my Crimson Falcon build when i started the game as a newbie. Now i would need to spend 2 Castalias to get the exact team. Should i do that or just wait to slow upgrades and new SSRs?
@@jorgetp9089 nah, don't use the castalia. use Outlaw Guard instead
she's probably still usable either way though. if you want to try Outlaw, take intimidate and rupture armor.

I managed to get 2 legs on Stage 8 sweep. Double Bladed Halberd and Diffusing Prism which was insane. Defo gonna try this later on reset but I'm prolly gonna swap Falcon with Abyss so that I have a dedicated debuffer that could potentially debuff Atk of the boss. That's what I did on stage 8. And I have been running most of my units with their auras so I don't have to spend any extra castallia for those.
@@justinrazon7200 I'd recommend giving outlaw guard a try over Abyss, since he can contribute a lot more damage while doing both debuffs.
just managed to clear the stage 10 with that swap, but it's still a huge gear/stat check. congrats on the nice sweep!
@@LumGaming101 Oh nice Outlaw Guard actually looks perfect for this. Plus I haven't touched him at all so I don't have to spend castallia unlocking the correct skills.

I hate that you cant fully reset build, especially with low rarity heroes. Now when you take completely different build kinda screwed. I mean it really hurts to use castel for them more than 1
This is my big gripe about it. I screwed so many of my units, because while early game, it was pretty good to get specific "good for early game" abilities, now that I'm heading into the later game, and harder stages, those abilities are not great. I'm stuck with having to decided to use castela or not. And so far, I have been saving them, because of how rare the item is....
Should be able to use 1 castela, and maybe like a certain amount of currency, to reset the whole tree...
Can I sub angel for Inanna or is having 5 star Angel necessary? I assume her summon won't be used much if that was the case unless there is a way to force the boss to target it
angel is much stronger for this fight because of the greater range and flexibility of her AoE heal, and doubly safer because of both her mdef aura and because Inanna minion triggers the boss turn refresh mechanic. check out his very first passive when clicking his "Advanced Immunity".
we don't wanna give the boss extra turns to wipe us 💀
I cant seem to survive that firt hit on Gloria. Mines got a lot more hp and mdef too... He's hitting her for 4k+ every time. Is there something im missing?
@@Cemmirri1 it might be her reaction skill. when i spent another castalia to switch off the counterattack, she was able to tank it with front defense.

How did u get that many Radiant Powder? I just could upgrade 2 of my items to level 50 :/
@@tudailynotion haha, i don't recommend everything that i did. so besides the reputation and insignia shops which everyone should buy out, the one other place i found was Beryl's event shop where there is a reward box with 35k powder if you open all 5.
a better idea if you have the time is pushing tower really hard, lots of first time clear rewards for precious dust.

dummy me had equipped the tarot whisper with the most magic defense unlocks on my col and i was so confused cause i didnt know where he was getting more than a hundred magic defense from
And my gloria survived 2nd round at 30 hp

@@knipsaz hm, I'm honestly not sure. i don't think I've seen any clears that don't include gloria yet.
a good alternative would be Outlaw Guard. he brings a very strong atk debuff and a ton of damage. try him out and let me know if it works!
Hmm for now feel like impossible without Col since Col can kill 2 turret per Round which no other seeker can do the same at this time.

Boss targeted my crimson isntead of angel but can survive thanks to buffs XD
@@myghy HAHA, i had a test run where the same thing happened. crimson is surprisingly tanky with battle fever!

@@KonaSaint504 you would use Falcon with Pursuit order, and then slot in Outlaw Guard for debuffing

@@KonaSaint504 she's better for this trial, since she's tankier and has better heals. inana is for DPS, trial 3 is all about surviving early rounds
