Does this occur at all doses of St. John's Wort? Does this occur only at high doses or the common doses?

+Lisa Mainier Thanks for your question. Common doses of St. John's Wort can produce serious interactions. There are many documented cases of pregnancy, organ transplant rejection, and other serious problems that are associated with the herb interacting with prescription medications.
You might find this section of Dr. Gurley's lecture informative, since he discusses several case studies: nccih.nih.gov/training/videolectures/14/6
