At this point, any winning keeps Shelton/Haines/Cherington completely safe. Knowing Nutting, he’ll probably extend them all.

They win half of the blown saves of their bullpen, they are comfortably in a playoff spot.
No trade is worth it as long as Andy LAMEaines still has a Job as far as I’m concerned. Fire him bring in someone new that actually is decent and actually at least knows a little bit about what he’s doing then of course. Go for it and make a big trade!!!

Sad thing is.. if they did this last year after the start they had. They still would have made the playoffs easily. 😂😭🤦♂️

With the exception of Joey Bart, the Pirates are meh up the middle defensively. And they have have too many underperforming young players with diminished trade value on the roster. Trading Chandler or Johnson wouldn't alleviate this logjam.
I'm calling itn ow, they will drop at two against the Sox, because Shelton will pull a Tomlin and overlook the weakest team in the league
