new scm e 20: performance just like a “bigger” edge bander

SCM e 20 is the new edge bander designed to be an economic, reliable and practical machine for the edge banding of straight and shaped panels.
The new 4,3” electronic touch-screen control allows the management of new functions, such as the possibility to set the feed speed on 6 levels (3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 m/min), 3 different working modes (manual, programmed and measurement), rapid glue heating system and stand-by timed function.
The machine is equipped with a powered pressure roller to facilitate the panel feeding during the machining.
The tilting worktable adjustable from 0 to 45° allows the simple edge banding of panels with sides not in square with reference to the support table.
The infeed fence is extremely helpful in the loading of large dimensioned linear panels and the 3-roller outfeed fence improves the edge gluing quality.
The new scm e 20 includes the best features of the previous model: the mobile front extension that makes easy the handling of large dimensioned pieces on the worktable, the teflon-coated hot melt glue pot, positioned underneath the worktable, avoids burning of the glue and the anti-scratch phenolic multilayer worktable with modular holes complete with panel supports, for the best operator’s comfort during the processing.
