    Thank you for this video. I am not a great at sewing, so your details and showing all of the parts and your helpful hints were great. Going to try this.

    Angie, you are a great teacher and are easy to follow along with. I am a beginner. I made several of your Brandy Cross Body Bag and gave them out as gifts. I have tried other channels but I have to say you are one of the best!! Thank you for sharing your talent.
    Trying this tomorrow!

    I recently made several of these. Wished I had watched your video first. I would definitely have turned it with the opening on the top seam rather than inside the lining. Thank you for sharing your knowledge:-)

    That's so smart, leaving the tuning opening at the top!

    Hi Angie, I made sis & her boyfriend this trash bag for their cars, this week I made myself one. I used oil cloth for the lining as it can be damp clothed off & gave the bag great structure. I used French themed outer fabric in back & white & top in solid black. It's too pretty to put trash in...lol, but I re-use the same pattern which makes it quick & surprisingly easy. I like to see other Utubers in case I want to tweak it. Thanks & Happy 4th...🇺🇸💌

    I like to make my bags longer rather than wider. This pattern is fun to make.

    What is that metal stick at the bottom of your sewing machine.???

    • @AngieKT327
      @AngieKT327  Před 2 lety +2

      It’s a knee lift for my presser foot. It connects to my machine and all I have to do is push it to the side with my knee and it raises my presser foot so I don’t have to take my hands off the fabric to lift it 🙂

    Thank you so much for this tutorial. I found it very helpful. Where did you find that ADORABLE dog patterned fabric? It is SOOO CUTE!

    • @AngieKT327
      @AngieKT327  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for the comment! I got the dog fabric at Joann’s in their home decor section. But it was on clearance so I’m not sure if they’re still carrying it 😕

    Do you think you could use marine vinyl for the lining?

  • @jaz1844
    @jaz1844 Před 2 lety

    I have a ton of PUL fabric….can I use that as my lining…it is flimsy though…..could I iron on interface to it you think.????

    • @AngieKT327
      @AngieKT327  Před 2 lety

      I’ve honestly never sewn with PUL so I can’t really say 😕 But with it being rubbery I’m not sure about fusing interfacing because it might melt. It might still be ok without interfacing the PUL lining though, it just might end up being a bit slouchier.

    Hi, can you tell me the maturement on the handle part that look like pants. Thank you.

    • @AngieKT327
      @AngieKT327  Před 2 lety

      There aren’t really measurements I could give on that piece since the “handle” part tapers down at the ends. I linked the pattern in the description. It’s free to download and just has 1 page to print for that piece 😄

      It’s been a couple years since I downloaded this pattern so I’m not familiar with what’s required when you’re getting one of her free patterns. But I think she has a chat box that comes up on the screen where you can send her a message if you have questions about how to download 🙂

      Payment method is just part of the process. They haven't made a separate algorithm for free items. Zero $$ charge is still zero $$. Doubt it even gets sent to the credit card company.
