About Varna itself
Varna is the third-largest city in Bulgaria and the largest city and seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Situated strategically in the Gulf of Varna, the city has been a major economic, social and cultural centre for almost three millennia. Varna, historically known as Odessos (Ancient Greek: Ὀδησσός), grew from a Thracian seaside settlement to a major seaport on the Black Sea.
Varna is an important centre for business, transportation, education, tourism, entertainment and healthcare. The city is referred to as the maritime capital of Bulgaria and headquarters of the Bulgarian Navy and merchant marine. In 2008, Varna was designated the seat of the Black Sea Euroregion by the Council of Europe. In 2014, Varna was awarded the title of European Youth Capital 2017.
The oldest gold treasure in the world, belonging to the Varna culture, was discovered in the Varna Necropolis and dated to 4600-4200 BC.

Love all Bulgaria and hope to settle in Varna some day.

There's something missing while watching the video - while you're walking you feel the warm (but not too hot) humid air and while you breath you can feel that the sea is close to you. Also you feel that the people on the street are mostly chill and are not in that much hurry.

A nice quality video of our seaside town! I live here so can see how you've kind of wandered in circles and kept ending up in Independence square (Big Fountain & Opera house) :-) ... But hey thats what people who don't know Varna might do and its still all good...
Maybe you needed to head off left at the Varna Sign 23.15.... ;-)

@@ExploreTheWorld As I said guys, (and girls?) a very informative walk around my hometown of Varna Bulgaria ....I liked the way you identified the streets which will be helpful to any visitors to the place Ive spent the last 15 years... Many still think of Bulgaria as some old communistic relic of a country and are amazed that it has moved so quickly into the 21st century.... :-) ....Further exploration of our massive Sea gardens here is highly recommended for all! That is not Varna.It is only ''Gizmeto'' a pedestrian street of central parts of Varna and the short cut to South part of ''Sea garden'' a park . 3000 years old city and 8000 years old settlement, which has layers of world history have to offer more than parts of 2 walking streets.
