  • The knife versus carbide seems easy enough yet still leaves a little mystery. Today let's compare and contrast the difference in finish between Knives Vs Carbide forestry mulcher teeth. Steel knifes arguably leave a nicer finish if the goal is to breakdown and decompose the organic matter. But that comes at a cost of required sharpening every so often. On the other hand Carbide teeth might provide better soil erosion, if that is a concern. Also carbide teeth do not require sharpening. Once they are used up, they become a throw away item.     It likes more speed with knives. It wants to eat move faster on hard wood. Exp on that plained board you have and it will explode then it will fine mulch it. That head eats i love mine. Blade wear is better after i watched that video you had with shearex guy on trick to blade sharpening . Love the video
