so i have bein muslim for around 2 days now, my question to you is, shud i be a suni or a shia?
There is only one true path of Islam which is through the progeny of the Prophet. Today, in common terms, there is only one sect that follows the teachings of the Prophet through his Household - they are the Shia Muslims. The non-Shia Muslims take Islam from companions, many of whom accepted Islam after the conquest of Makkah - and were condemned by Allah in the Quran (Surah Jumua)
The Progeny of the Prophet is the only source, whose purity has been guaranteed by Allah Himself (Quran 33:33)
