Honestly the other G2 match against Misfits was more down to the wire. Rogue kept up in kills but that’s partially from the less tanky G2 lineup. They never even really got on Rekkles in skirmishes and team fights and the turret deficit ensured that they could never really push out and pressure anywhere on the map. They were slowly strangled and the kill count was pretty misleading of how far behind they really were.
Fnatic vs Mad Lions was a BANGER too
@@FFF813 Bro did we watch the game ? The game was really close despite G2's lead. Some tf were won out pure luck for G2. The match was fantastic and both team kept it really close. Rogue were hard outscaling and Gé played the map well.
Rekkles is a machine. 561 CS, the only deathless in such a close game. This dude is on fire and so consistent.
I actually feel that he could give some cs to Miky after 300 so he can also get some items. While it looks impressive, i don't know if 561 cs was that much important.
@@adriankiedos599 that late into the game its important to keep the tempo up on the minions waves, mikyx getting cs would've taken so much more time i think
@@adriankiedos599 Rekkles takes CS in the late game because its much faster to shove waves that way then to let Miky kill them since Rekkles oneshots creeps.

ADC is one of the most fragile roles, yet Rekkles manages to go deathless again and again. This man's positioning is insane!
That's why he's so highly rated. People bash him for being very "scared" but in fact that's what he does - he tries not to die, so he can stack gold and be unstoppable later on.

Me too! Even if G2 was sooo good today with a more complex draft than what rogue offered us. Rogue only kept up thanks to their scaling team fight comp.

Holy what a game, I was on edge of my seat for last 20 minutes. Rekkles is unstoppable, 0 deaths 560 cs god.
I know rekkles is good, but in my opinion he is very passive. For example, he can't play samira. If it was rekkles instead of upset vs XL, Fnatic would lose. HOWEVER, rekkles is still a great adc and carries g2 often :)
@@futyreel thing is there are several players that can carry rekkles in g2 thats why being passive isn't that bad
@@futyreel samira is coin flip champion. u got 10 kill but one dash mistake in middle of fight you death and lose.

@@futyreel like don't you think g2 have enough aggressive player? To have rekkles to balance it out should be a plus tbh. As an adc for g2 he doesn't need to be flashy, which btw, he can given the spotlight. But as consistent is what people looking for and rekkles deliver it on a silver platter

How does rekkles ALWAYS manage to keep his deaths down? Rarely dies more than once per game and often just doesnt die at all. So impressive considering the champions and the role he plays.

His positioning is key. He was put into a utility AD carry so he do long range engages, setting up roots or the curtain calls for his teammates. Rekkles has been playing like that since he join G2, that Mikyx doesn't have to babysit him often.

@@8thgstriker412 Yeah at worlds it's different, because other AD carry from either China or Korea region will play much more agressive. Such examples are plenty: Gumayusi, Ghost, LWX, Huangfeng and Jackeylove.
Edit: Yeah, Rekkles performance & win factor also rely on Caps or Jankos performance, sometimes Wunder. If either of them play like shit, Rekkles falls too, it's a team game and u can only do so much with your team. We don't have to worry about Miykx since he's not Hylissang, who's gonna int and force engages.
Yeah, Hans Sama is "slightly" better as a AD carry, he is more in tune to what a modern ADC does. In terms of being a carry, he has done plenty and more for Rogue.

Finally inspired's weak early jungling gets exposed. He rarely ganks in fact larssen probably ganks more with his TP. Dont know why they replaced finn instead of inspired.

I feel like gamę was long, but victory of g2 was not in danger in any minute. When its not a meme Jankos shows the difference between him and Inspired and Caps dominate Larsen even though Rouge is clearly a pretty strong team, a contender right now.

İ could tell that Hans sama was literary scared to play against G2 again. İ think he has some deep fears of G2. There was huge diffirience on his performance compare to previous games.

This was an hallucinating fight! Rogue were in gold deficit throughout the entire game, yet they fought as if they were even. For a moment it looked like they were going to win, even if they were down by 10k gold!

2k gold difference is huge after 5 minutes. But after 40 minutes, 10k is quite small.
