Hello prim friends! My name is Gabriella Moir and welcome to our channel The Cape on the Corner at Tweedthistle Farms, where we love to explore antique shops and homes that are filled with history in early American antiques and primitives that also go well in farmhouse decor and decorating. We share the building process too as we build our forever home, a Cape Cod style home on our 5+ acres in Ohio where we also have a specialty cut flower farm. Follow along as we share daily life of starting seeds and planting seedlings for the cutting garden, establish new landscaping near our home to try to give it that early look and feel. In the growing season we'll be starting a kitchen herb garden and so much more. Keep watching!

This is STUNNING. There is NO WAY I could sell that. We moved to Ohio 5 years ago, and this would be my DREAM.
I could have listened to the owners share their story and the history of the times for hours. It's beyond beautiful. I hope whoever is lucky enough to buy this spectacular home continues to respect its history and the enormous effort that has gone into it.

These dear sweet people are not home owners, they are guardians, history buffs, keepers of the past, lovers of what they do and like the pioneers that have gone before them, they wanted to do this. They wanted to inhale the spirit of the past while they lived in the present. They did not find these salvage log homes, these homes found them. History recognizes keepers of the past and entrusts them with these precious dear sweet homes.

Would it be possible to find out what the cabins are coated with? We need to treat our logs, but haven’t a clue what coating is best. Thank you all for sharing this wonderful home place. Love hearing the history. What a beautiful setting!

That is incredible!!! My husband and l were about to buy an Ohio home that had the original deed signed by James Madison. Wide plank floors, beams, a fireplace you could stand up in, with a built in seat, and a little window in it. But...he was tranferred, so we're in an 1898 Victorian. Had to rethink decorating, so the dry sinks, woven coverlets, settle, cannonball bed, firkins, spinning wheel, and primtives were sold. Still miss them sometimes. Best of life to you, and thanks for the tour of your lovely home! ❤️

Absolutely beautiful! …. But it would be nice to know the price of this home. If you want pre qualified people, you have to know the price. Otherwise, your bombarded with call’s or your not really interested in selling. Things I know and learned when I was a realtor, yrs ago.
