I remember watching this series when I was 12-13 and laughing at the sex jokes and whatnot, but now rewatching it during quarantine I realize just how much effort this must’ve taken and how well it was written, all while LK was getting constantly screwed over by copyright stuff. I’m also remembering where all these sayings that come to mind constantly actually originated from. This series is a masterpiece.
Another teen here, I always come back to this video and the naruto abridged movie just to reminisce, and not only does it bring me a great source of nostalgic joy, it also makes me still laugh over and over again

Watched the whole thing in 2015, and it's still just as fun as it was back then. As an unironic fan of Yugioh and YugiohTAS, I can only say, thanks Martin, and I hope you get better soon.

Okay but Melvin'd was the beginning of the "Cancelled Series" arch, which marked such an up in quality and creativity. The whole story of it is practically rewritten to vent Billlany's frustration with the constant copyright issues more than ever, but never made it feel intrusive. It was such a seamless shift and fit in with the show so well. He recognized the out of place filler arch and rather than cut it to the bare minimum or out completely he chose to make the out of place feel make logical sense in the series and revamp it to such a high quality. Even if the show consistently improves over time, I'd say the Cancelled Series is and confident that it always will be my favorite arch of the series. Such a great job done by such a talented man who will probably never get enough credit for his craft and what he contributed to internet culture. Which is further becoming just pop culture and culture with each passing day.
And not to mentiom that he outlived his main rivals in TeamFourStar since DBZA was ended, as well as 4kids themselves which is the biggest flex of all time. LittleKuriboh is a living legend in Internet history.
LittleKuriboh is the source of inspiration for TFS, he was TFS Frieza. He played the best villain in TFS. He is just amazing.

In the English Dub Marik says you'll spend eternity in the shadow realm Bakura responds with, "I am the darkness" with that evil smile of his before he vanishes
I think Marik was the only manga villain to actually send people to the Shadow Realm instead of killing them. Except he described it as "sacrificing them to the darkness."
It's implied to be worse than dying, unless you're already part of the darkness, like Bakura.

By the way... does the dub even mention his first name at all ? (Ryo/Ryou I mean, not Florence) Or does it just call him Bakura ? I always watch sub, so I don't know. But each time I have watched a dubbed clip, I have been stricken by the inconsistency in how the characters are addressed. Last name for Kaiba (except by his brother), last name for Bakura, but first name for Marik and the "heroes".

Hassan Raza not really, but 5Ds got cancelled after 136 episodes of the dub due to low ratings. They just edited it to add the 1st half of episode 137 and ended the show with Yusei saying it’s over.

The celtic guardian wouldn't help against an egyptian god, but the OBNOXIOUS celtic guardian's special effect makes it so he can't be destroyed by battle with a monster with over 1900 ATK. And to destroy a monster with Mega Ultra Chicken's effect costs 1000 LP.................. Actually had this happen to me in Duel Links, but with Slifer.

You know, I thought the whole point of equality was that we could treat each other similarly, and thus laugh at and be laughed at regardless of what we are.
