@Andre Neto Pretty much the beginning is Roxas. Roxas didnt know much when he was first introduced to the organization. And when he grew to realize what the plan was, he didnt want to run. Axel with the got it memorized and how he missed how things used to be especially with whay he said about always being there to get his friends back. As for Xion, the song focuses on how she will fade from memories and as well, how she was a puppet for Xemnas.
Cause song is memory to roxas xion and roxas holds there spirits

It makes me sad most people don't realize the importance of Roxas's words in the game because they're casuals who don't take time to understand the details of the bond between Roxas, Axel, and Xion. How eating ice cream and hanging out to watch the sunset on the clock tower was all he understood about what friends do together.
I truly felt for Roxas when Xion died and damn near cried. I am so relieved Roxas, Axel, and Xion are finally back together again.

When the music suddenly got quiet and the "Remember, remember" part started, I was assaulted with such intense feels I teared up. It's so heartbreaking and such a beautiful contrast to the rest of this rocking song; I love how it just goes on a rollercoaster of emotions all while giving me an eargasm, thank you.

As far as im aware, this is the first well made fan song for a KH game. And I'm so glad it was for 358/2 Days, since Roxas is my favorite character and the sea salt trio as my favorite trio. Song still holds up to this day, very amazing work

My gosh this song...it kills me emotionally. Axel, Roxas, and Xion had such great friendship to have it end in a really sad tragedy. They were my favorite group of friends in that series.

I too heard three songs on this piece of music, but I took it in a different way than you did. The beginning and chorus mostly seemed to be Roxas, the screaming part on the middle was Axel (hence the "Got it memorized?" part), and the end verse was obviously Xion (I don't know why. Oh, maybe because the lyrics he had for it was taken from an actual fan song actually made for Xion?). But I thought it was quite brilliant and saddening at the same time to hear all the hard emotions put into it that Nate did. I think it's very well done.

This was the first ever song I heard by Nate. I was in 10th grade in in graphic design class wishing I was anywhere else. Scrolling through random youtube videos. I remember being speechless and stunned. This song still hits home for me and will always be a favorite

Absolutely. Of course, the actual ending was one mission later than the part where I cried like a baby. That last bit had to be there to tie into KH2, since the entire rest of 358/2 Days was forgotten in-universe.
I couldn't NOT cry for over a year when the game came out.
Coming back to this song after seeing Nate's work on One Way Dream for Sonic Frontiers and noting the difference in perspective and emotion between very similar lines: "Now I've grown so sick of running to find I'm only at the start" versus "We're only at the beginning of this one way dream"

What I love so much about a lot of Nate’s music is how when I listen to it the first time, it doesn’t click that it’s from a game. Then I’ll listen to it again months later and have a whole new appreciation for a song I already enjoy.

If I’m correct, the melody actually is Xion’s theme in the game?

I just came back here after replaying KH 358 days
I believe Nobodies actually had hearts. They were just told they werent so they wouldnt question the reason they're going after kingdom hearts. Axel being sad and such when roxas leaves him feeling angry about roxas remembering him. Roxas being sad and crying that Xion was killed. Roxas being happy when with Haner and them. Xion being sad and crying at her death. Only heart emotions can cause that stuff to happen.
Demyx also said so in KH2, and you can see throughout all the games that the Nobodies had genuine emotions and relationships (if I remember well, it also has been proven in KH3)
