  • The Michelin Anakee Adventure tires slot into Michelin's adventure touring tire range between the 50/50 Anakee Wild tires and the 90/10 Anakee 3 tires to offer a 80/20 tire capable of most anything you can throw it into. The Anakee Adventure tires feature Michelin's advanced 2CT and 2CT+ compound for excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions.
Front applications feature 2CT technology with two different silica blends - one down the center of the tread and the second on the shoulders. This gives excellent traction at a range of lean angles, especially in wet conditions. On the back tire, 2CT+ technology is applied by layering different durometers of rubber around the main contact patch - enhancing the tire’s rigidity, stability at high speeds and ability to handle off-road terrain under load. The tread pattern gradually gets deeper along the sides for better traction on wet terrain.

The subject here is off-road capability of the tires mounted on a Desert Sled. The 2020 model I have has had the front wheel changed to a 21 inch item with Dunlop 605's on the rims fore and aft. The only reason it gets horizontal is when I make a mistake. The tires have an unlimited amount of traction. And they're DOT approved for pavement. Buchannan's Wheel Shop in Cali. is the place to send your front hub; and you'll get a wheel assembly back ready for a tire. Slide the forks up through the tripple clamps until the suspension cap is within a quarter inch of the instrument mount and your rake and trail will be back to specs. It's wonderful on road and off... Buck

Great video, how many mile or KM are you getting out of them? How does it compare to the Pirelli scorpio s which come with the bike? In terms of on road traction, noise.

Hands down they are different tires. Scorpion Rally STRs rumble slightly more, though not as much as the Mitas E07+, On road, I don't notice them having any worse traction when dry. In fact almost every tire I've tried functions just at well on dry roads following highway speed limits, as long as the rubber is fresh.
Also I know the video has been out for a long while now, but since I rotate bikes a lot in recent years, I've never actually managed to ride them till the end of their tread life.
