While I am an OG Power Rangers fan, I have to admit that seeing Shelby and Tyler's budding romance was one of the highlights of Power Rangers Dino Charge. Hell seeing Shelby's character in general was a highlight of that season.
I loved it when at the end of “Silver Secret” she was like “I’m already hanging with a rockstar” and they head to the lab holding hands. And then later on after saving the other Rangers from being statues she was like “Sometimes you do crazy things for the people you love.” Yeah, Tyler and Shelby was one of the best couples in the series.
I loved Tyler and Shelby! They were perfect for each other and kind of obvious from the first time they me each other. That scene where she found his dads bracelet was a real sign. You see how Tyler’s face brightened up? The whole Princess-Prince thing was another sign.

Nick and Madison had "moments" that I could count on 1 hand, BUT still more interesting than Jake/Gia. No kisses at all, but still a "Ok, maybe in the future they actually got together." Ziggy/Doc K: same idea, they were never OFFICIALLY a couple but it was implied when Ziggy put his arm around her in the finale. Still they had a lot of "moments" worth mentioning.
Camille and Jarrod are a very good example of love conquers all because the love between those two was able to create a wedge between Jarrod and dai-shi that was able to force the two apart because a positive emotion that strong made it damn near impossible to maintain his possession of Jarrods body.
Ashley/Andros and Wes/Jen are my favorites!!! I'm still sad that Kimberly and Tommy didn't end up together as he's married to Kat now... that ship died along with my childhood.

- Angela dumped Zack if I remember right, because he kept randomly “disappearing” on their dates (doing Power Ranger stuff of course but she didn’t know that) - I thought Leo had more chemistry with Karone, personally. I always liked Kendrix with Kai. But I guess some people could argue for Leo/Kendrix - Carter and Dana were a great LR couple... but Joel and Ms. Fairweather were a better one lol - I didn’t think anything ever got off the ground with the Trent/Kira thing... also didn’t Kira have a crush on Blake? honestly I thought the best Dino Thunder couple was Cassidy and Devin. - idk if Doggie and Isinia would count since they were already married before the show started. - Nick and Madison.... ehhh... maybe... some people would argue Chip/Vida, or Udonna/Leanbow although that fits back into the whole pre-show marriage thing. Doesn’t matter... Mystic Force was one of the worst seasons. - Theo and Lily were cute together I liked Theo’s constant awkwardness when he tried to tell her he liked her. - Fran/Dominic I’m not too sure about I’m currently on Jungle Fury and they haven’t brought in Dominic yet.
Therese Callahan I think it was just that one episode and Blake didn’t return the feeling. He asked her to come to his motocross expo thing and she thought he was asking her on a date, but he told her he was just promoting his business and told her to invite her friends.
Some people have mentioned a Tommy/Hayley pairing, but I think that’s one sided. There are several moments where u can tell Hayley’s got it bad for Tommy or at least really really cares about him, but I don’t think he feels the same way back.
Jen and Wes was freaking great! The finale of Time Force will always stand right there with In Space at the top and the relationship between Jen and Wes is one of the main reasons it was so good. Also Joel and Miss Fairweather should have been on the list. It definitely felt like a natural progression and Joel was so sincere about liking her. It was great to see that they actually got married.

You know a lot of people complain about Wes and Jen's goodbye because they didnt kiss but in the end it's a bittersweet and perfect final moment because Jen knows that kiss would make her want to stay when she can't. Even Wes seems to have that moment of realization where it looks like he wants to lean in but he knows it wouldn't be for the best. What looks like family friendly filmmaking may actually have turned out to be one of the greatest and deepest final moments in the whole series.
As much as I liked samurai that was an awkward relationship like come on where did they build that bond it just came out of nowhere at the end like the writers saying oh yeah there a thing now it would have been better if Emily ended up with Antonio since she looked interested in him when he got introduced
Joel and Ms. Fairweather should’ve been higher on this list. They actually DO get together in the LR finale, and in The Lightspeed Rescue / Time Force teamup episode, they reveal that Joel and Ms. Fairweather had recently gotten married.
These just made me remember how good the Wild Force x Time Force team up episode was. No other team up episode has been this good, including anniversary episodes. Too bad they no longer do team ups though.
Mystic Force sucks... the only season worse than Mystic Force is Operation Overdrive (and maybe some of the new ones, particularly Samurai and Megaforce)
IMO, Dillon+Summer should totally be #2!! I also wish Taylor's & Eric's attraction had been more developed. Same with Blake & Tory. Not sure why I got Joel & Miss Fairweather 2 times in a row.

Agree as hell, is a unique love, tommy and Kimberly was not even legitim, then there was another romance with tommy and pink turbo ranger. Wes and Jen is even better love story than twilight.
I shipped Wes and Jen because their story was so good. Despite their different personalities and morales, they made a great team and had good chemistry. Jake and Gia, despite Gia was hard to get, Jake was relentless and never gave up. They had good chemistry too. Plus the fact, Gia was crushing on him too. Mike and Emily, because they had good chemistry and they made an adorable couple. They had the chemistry from the start pretty much. The way the looked at each other and brought each other’s spirits out was admirable.
I didn't even ship them that much and I still agreed with them being number 1. They had solid growth throughout the season, and ending it off with that tearful goodbye just sealed them in first place.
I thought Kimberly and Tommy were a lock for number 1. I also thought that Zhane and Karone should have made the list, especially since they fell for each other when she was Astronema.
because even in a kids show made with stock sentai footage the writers for some reason like us fans see chemistry between characters and remember love is essential to promote and realistic so pairing up characters while not allowed to push it too far is interesting and makes everyone watching relate...
I loved Shelby and Tyler. Her feelings about him were way obvious LOL. And Jake had it bad for Gia as well. I think Tommy was crazy about Kimberly! And Rita almost took it away from her. Tommy was under Rita’s spell because she made him an evil ranger. I think they are missing somebody. Rita and Lord Zedd was funny as hell. They actually did accomplish way more together than apart. Oh yeah, Slash and Cassandra. Haley and Calvin were adorable! Emma really did like Troy.
It may be just me, but I thought that Doggie Krueger and Kat from SPD had chemistry. A romance was not explored due to Doggie's love for Isinia, yet you could see that they were close and knew each other well.
I liked Adam and Tanya during Zeo, but it was more subtle and in the background for Tommy/Kat. So I wasn't expecting them to be on this list, but I wish they were more obvious with it cause they had way more chemistry than Tommy and Kat. I wasn't a fan but Tommy and Kimberly were so cute together, I loved when they kissed. I also liked Zedd and Rita, they were so dysfunctional but cute together too.
The first time I rewatched the episodes when I was older, you could tell they were a couple during Zeo. I didn't realize how subtle they were about it when I was a kid. I just hate they put them in the background so they could highlight Tommy and Kat (who didn't have that much chemistry) Adam and Tanya had way more chemistry and I wish more would of been done with them.

yesss, Adam/Tanya was the better couple. If you watch the Zeo panel from PMC this year, Johnny calls the show on it, rightfully so, that it wasn't a real canon thing because of the interracial aspect.
Flynn and Gemma should’ve been an honorable mention. Also Dom and Fran(even though she’s not a ranger/villain) was a great pairing. Them going off to travel the world together made me super happy in the finale of jungle fury!!

If it was explored more I would’ve love to have seen Leo and Kendrix’s relationship develop more since they made it very obvious from the start that they were going to be love interests. (Sadly was one of the many things that were changed due to Valerie Vernon’s leukemia diagnosis) Fingers crossed for a Lost Galaxy Graphic Novel from Boom Studios! that officially puts the two together.
The crazy thing is... Jason was originally supposed to be with Kim for the Turbo movie... but that ended up being written out, leaving it up to implication... Even stranger in the Boom Comics universe, Jason breifly dated Trini but the fwo broke up after deciding it would leave their team vulnerable... I NEVER saw that one coming.

Also I’ve been working on a fanfic series where Tommy and Kimberly (now married, yeah who says they couldn’t get back together down the road?) start a new Power Ranger team and their daughter Kelly is the Pink Ranger. Later on in the series the Yellow Ranger dies, and Kelly meets a rebellious girl named Katrina, who turns out to be the daughter of Trini and Billy, although initially she thinks she is an orphan because her mother died in a car crash and she never knew her father she just thought he’d abandoned her (she didn’t know he was on another planet getting treatment for his aging issue he suffered from during Zeo) obviously, Katrina becomes the new Yellow Ranger, and eventually Billy returns to Earth as the “Sixth Ranger” of the Team (called Aquarius Knight), and he gradually begins to reunite with the daughter he never knew he had.
Love Wes and Jen but Tommy and Kimberly were iconic. The show had go and ruin it by a letter, so they could pair Tommy with the new pink ranger Katherine who he lacked chemistry.
Actually it isn't all that specific, it's almost like them doing a Top 10 Adventure Time couples or Top 10 Marvel couples...now if it was specific it would've been top 10 Pink and Red Power Ranger couples broadcasted during the Saban era

I shipped Wes and Jen because their story was so good. Despite their different personalities and morales, they made a great team and had good chemistry. Jake and Gia, despite Gia was hard to get, Jake was relentless and never gave up. They had good chemistry too. Plus the fact, Gia was crushing on him too. Mike and Emily, because they had good chemistry and they made an adorable couple. They had the chemistry from the start pretty much. The way the looked at each other and brought each other’s spirits out was admirable.

Well when I saw them at #2, I knew somebody was going to make #1.
I loved Shelby and Tyler. Her feelings about him were way obvious LOL. And Jake had it bad for Gia as well. I think Tommy was crazy about Kimberly! And Rita almost took it away from her. Tommy was under Rita’s spell because she made him an evil ranger. I think they are missing somebody. Rita and Lord Zedd was funny as hell. They actually did accomplish way more together than apart. Oh yeah, Slash and Cassandra. Haley and Calvin were adorable! Emma really did like Troy.
It may be just me, but I thought that Doggie Krueger and Kat from SPD had chemistry. A romance was not explored due to Doggie's love for Isinia, yet you could see that they were close and knew each other well.

I liked Adam and Tanya during Zeo, but it was more subtle and in the background for Tommy/Kat. So I wasn't expecting them to be on this list, but I wish they were more obvious with it cause they had way more chemistry than Tommy and Kat. I wasn't a fan but Tommy and Kimberly were so cute together, I loved when they kissed. I also liked Zedd and Rita, they were so dysfunctional but cute together too.

The first time I rewatched the episodes when I was older, you could tell they were a couple during Zeo. I didn't realize how subtle they were about it when I was a kid. I just hate they put them in the background so they could highlight Tommy and Kat (who didn't have that much chemistry) Adam and Tanya had way more chemistry and I wish more would of been done with them.

yesss, Adam/Tanya was the better couple. If you watch the Zeo panel from PMC this year, Johnny calls the show on it, rightfully so, that it wasn't a real canon thing because of the interracial aspect.
Sadly, I'm not surprised. Even though people are more open to it now on TV and in general, IR couples still get the short end of the stick SMH.

Also I’ve been working on a fanfic series where Tommy and Kimberly (now married, yeah who says they couldn’t get back together down the road?) start a new Power Ranger team and their daughter Kelly is the Pink Ranger. Later on in the series the Yellow Ranger dies, and Kelly meets a rebellious girl named Katrina, who turns out to be the daughter of Trini and Billy, although initially she thinks she is an orphan because her mother died in a car crash and she never knew her father she just thought he’d abandoned her (she didn’t know he was on another planet getting treatment for his aging issue he suffered from during Zeo) obviously, Katrina becomes the new Yellow Ranger, and eventually Billy returns to Earth as the “Sixth Ranger” of the Team (called Aquarius Knight), and he gradually begins to reunite with the daughter he never knew he had.
