One of the best ways to describe his drumming: deliberate. Every note is meticulously executed.
This is phenomenal!
So smooth, so groovy, so tasteful, so technical, so brutal, and so completely mind blowing! I love how he can so easily make it swing by keeping a pulse on the hi hat with his left foot and ridiculous polyrhythms up top with his hands, and then switch to double bass patterns, blast beats, and even a little thrash on a dime. Bravo Vlad, what a monster musician and composer! 🔥🤯

Every time you think about how amazing Jinjer is, they focus on one, whether it’s Tatiana, Vlad, Eugene or Roman and you’re just amazed at how incredible every one of them is. I’m just blown away constantly by them all.
Jinjer is for me the freshest band at all. Their sound is creative and refreshing intellectuel.
F-ing amazing! Vlad is a complete machine! One of the best drummers on the scene now. I especially love his use of ghost notes. Awesome!

I didn’t know Jinjer until they released Mediator, it has been years since I had not discovered a Band that left me all excited after listening to them. In 2007 was August burns red with messengers and could not stop watching Matt Greiner, now is Jinjer and Can’t stop watching and listening to Jinjer masterpieces and Vlad’s creative, groovy, technical metal drumming!

Oh man they are so good! They are similar to Meshuggah. Every record is better than the last and the musicianship is other worldly.

Brilliant playing and songwriting. Vlad is the perfect drummer for Jinjer; he has a fresh, imaginative style that beautifully complements the rest of the band's songwriting.
He is actually their main songwriter, at least for the newer albums. They mentioned it in several interviews, but I have no idea how the balance is on the earlier records.
He actually studied composition and piano

Back at it again with his unique hi-hat abuse! I love Vlad man, so technical without it being about speed. I remember hating his snare when I first heard macro but now it's one of my favs.

I appreciate your drumming so much Vlad! You're super clean throughout your performance, and able to effectively toggle between what seems like a totally ambidextrous mindset when you hold a beat/fill/etc on R/L hand or R/L foot. I've seen plenty of drummers go from righty to lefty with their hands, but never seen somebody do it with their feet also!! Watching and listening to Vlads playing gives me the same vibes of amazement as when I first listened to mangini or portnoy.
