Still fondly remembered as the greatest Blackpool manager in my lifetime. I will never forget my 40th birthday. Why? I spent it on the Prom cheering on Ollie and the lads after we'd reached the Premier League. The last time we were in the top flight I was a baby and after spending thirty years alternating between Divisions Three and Four, this was something I never believed would happen in my lifetime.

Holloway is a wonderful honest man. Blackpool were very unlucky yesterday they played the better game to be honest and im a west ham fan, i know we like to laugh at his funny talks but the man knows football inside out and deserves a lot of respect, especialy in the way he wants the game to be played. TOP MAN.

The people that say "Holloway for England" or "Make him PM" are talking crap and they know they are. The reason people like this guy, which is myself included, is because he speaks his mind. England manager can't do that, neither can the PM. That aside. He's a great man and he'll be back in the Prem next year which will be so entertaining for the top flight English game.

I honestly hoped that ManU (I'm a MU fan too) had not won that game, since I wanted so much for Blackpool to stay. Surley Blackpool's season ticket holder sales had risen after their time in the PL, they became stars, especially Holloway, but hey, Martinez is a good manager, maybe not charismatic, but he is very positive and I think Wigan's chairman has a lot of faith in him.
And we are now nearly upon this winter World Cup.

Its a good point - but its the conditions of a world cup - played all over the world. I'm in Australia, and our bid sucked but it would be awesome to see a world cup down here because our Winter is oh so mild, its like an English summer. The world cup is to decide the best team in the world, if the best team can't adapt to conditions then they aren't the best team. Why don't we move some of the grounds to a lower altitude? That makes some world cups unique. btw 41 isn't too bad :P had worse :P

I love Holloway, it's such a shame that Blackpool had to go last season and we're stuck with Wigan and that drab Martinez bloke again, if I had my way (and I'm a United fan) I'd have let them have the result at Old Trafford to stay up but the FA probably wouldn't like that very much!

If I had to have a favourite gas head, here's the man
Holloway is hilarious, however there is good reason for the world cup being moved to the winter ( most likely scenario), in the summer the average high for Doha is 41 degrees but it is known for temperatures to reach 50. I this heat people would usually stay indoors but if 60,000 fans were walking long distances unaccustomed to this heat people would die, it doesnt matter if the grounds are airconditioned, and many other leagues already have a winter break

Just like last season, his team have played shit football and struggled to score for 30 games of the season (there's a reason why Wigan are always last match on MOTD) and then all of a sudden stepped up their performances and got 3 wins that will probably keep them up. Holloways Blackpool team last year played great football and scored plenty of goals but left themselves too open at the back and a really unlucky own goal at old Trafford.cost them their relegation.
When ever i see him all i can think of is Ginsters pies :/
