as a big tensura fans, that hakurou's beatdown is one of my personal favourite.. it's the 1st time and only time hakurou actually got serious in fighting as far as the anime goes
Definitely one of the most satisfying moments in the whole series on top of being part of epic last three episodes of season 2 part 1.

Goku deflecting his sword attacks as a Super Saiyan was pretty awesome
That is why I never like trunks he is my least favorite, he act badass because he has a sword and wears a jacket, vegeta shouldn’t spank him harder

Got to hand it to Garou, he faced metal bat, class A, B and C heroes, Genos then Silver Fang and Bomb simultaneously and still kickin, not to mention lost a lot of blood....

I don’t route for Garou in any of these fights, but I do hope he found that school bully and beat the shit out of him for all of the pointless misery he put him through. I seriously can’t believe those other little bastard students didn’t even try to defend Garou or that those teachers never even tried to listen to his side of the story and just told him to apologize for nothing.

I was really hoping “The Valentines and Their Army vs The Hellsing Organization” was gonna be on here. Walter absolutely decimated Jan and his ghouls. Not to mention Luke strutted his stuff right onto Alucard’s dinner plate.
They say that too much TV makes you violent. But not having my TV is making me pretty fucking violent!!

I watched Slime anime and no doubt there are lot of cocky characters and they got put at their place and I love it.

Especially the fact that the only reason he won in the first place was because they put up a barrier that weakens them. Revenge is so sweet.

That scene, plus watching Geld beat the living tar out of that waste of space Shoko, is so beyond satisfyingly cathartic, the episode should've been called Catharsis

Slime is top tier. I recommend watching it if you haven’t already.
It's that series I always though sounded stupid becuase of the name then one day I watch it for the hell of it and can only think "I wish I watched this sooner" after finishing it in one day

Hakarou vs Kyoyas’s fight surely is one of the best revenge fights, I rewatch it regularly and never get tired of it 😂
The best part about Hakarou vs. Kyoya was how Kyoya's own power was used to make his final moments all the more painful. Kyoya could speed up his senses to the point that everything around him radically slowed down. Mix this with his ability to move super fast and he could effectively stop time and kill foes before they knew what was happening to them. He didn't count on Hakarou being able to basically do the same and match Kyoya's movements, leaving himself vulnerable to Hakarou cutting off his head. Now I don't know the exact science or the exact length behind it all but a swift decapitation doesn't turn the lights out immediately. There's probably at least a couple of seconds following the decapitation where the head is still alive and aware. Kyoya's power didn't automatically deactivate after his head was severed from his body so those last few seconds dragged on for a very, very long time, making Kyoya's final punishment even more torturous as Hakarou held up his severed head and taunted him. A very brutal end for an evil man.

I don't know what was more satisfying, Hakarou brutally killing that punk with no effort or the absolutely flex move of bringing his head to the battle Geld was having just to go "Yeah, I massacred your buddy."

Hakaro was a great #1 pick but an honorable mention to Geld laying an absolute beatdown on Shogo. Theres just something visceraly satisfying about listening to a gentle giant lay a bass assisted curb stomping to a cocky little psychopath who thinks hes invincible

I have to do one honorable mention that is not truly a battle. In Saint Seiya, there's a filler episode when a fellow disciple of Shiryu became too much fond of killing. When he tries to murder Master Dohko from behind, the old saint make him stop only with his presence, without even having to turn. I simply loved that scene.
The best part of that fight with Hakuro was the dude got the beating, the trash talk and realization that's he's a goner.
Very very satisfying.
For shame, not showing the best part of #1. Maximum unsatisfying right there. Seeing him monologue how he can possibly get out of the situation that is absolutely inescapable was absolutely beautiful. Being able to slow time down to a crawl, but using it in your last seconds alive when you're just a severed head? Such a great punishment for that bastard.
I wouldn't call Wonderweiss a cocky punk since he wasn't really 'all there' and was only doing what Aizen had created him for. Now Yamamoto vs the giant beast monster that was wrecking everything a few episodes before, that would have been my pick since the three who merged their powers to create that beast were very cocky and Yamamoto truly did destroy it without even breaking a sweat.
It is said that when a person is beheaded, they are not dead right away as for around 10 seconds or so, they can still respond and such. Which means beheading is even more brutal. Thank you
This was actually featured in a series called 1000 ways to die. Centuries ago a man tried to prove this exact theory with a criminal that was sentenced to death by guillotine. Upon being severed. The man picked up the convicts head from the basket, called out his name and there was a reaction.

I would love to see the oldest of the Gold Saints Libra Dhoko from Saint Seiya get to meet with any of these fellow masters and have a friendly spar due to him probably having great respect for them.
And to give you a idea of how powerful the Kung-Fu using Gold Saint and his various Dragon-Themed attacks are during the first half of Saint Seiya: The Hades the Sanctuary Chapter when the Old Master revealed his true identity as Libra Dhoko and that his "old decrepit body" was just a shell hiding his recovering younger-looking true body, and power his former friend turned enemy the former Aries Gold Saint, and former Pope turned Specter Shion started showing fear as Shion quickly remembered how powerful and skilled Dhoko was especially once Dhoko donned the Gold Cloth of Libra.

Yamamoto, Sebas, Roshi, Genkai, and the dude from Slime r definitely top contenders for being the strongest here. Dunno who'd win overall though.

I knew from the beginning that Hakarou vs Kyoya would be number one. I’d like to see a top 10 anime list on top 10 anime characters that were underestimated (and subsequently beat the shit out of their opponents).
That ep of the Slime is one of the most satifying anime ep I've ever seen.
I'm glad that so many of us agree about #1. Kyoya's death at the hands of Hakaru was SO satisfying.
This whole 2nd season has been filled with amazing beat downs and i can't wait to see Rimuru mop the floor with Clayman next episode!

Boruto wasn’t cocky he already know he couldn’t beat Kakashi he just wanted the bell and actually passed the exam.
And unlike all other teams that passed cause they had teamwork Boruto made his classmates learn teamwork.

The Hakurou vs Kyoya fight scene is something I waited ever since reading it in the Light Novel and then in the Manga.
These characters are basically "I'm old but I can still mess you up" characters
I haven't watched Slime yet but as a novel reader i'm glad so many people enjoyed it. It's one of the most enjoyable novel i've read probably more than Overlord because i don't really like villain character.

Hell, the Hakurou thing wasn't even just the complete domination aspect. The other guy had an ability that let him see slow down time by x100 or something (I forget exactly cause he was a random mob), and Hakurou prevented him from deactivating it even after his head got chopped off. Allowing the brat to experience the pain of being a severed head for however long in slow motion before dying instead of a second or so.

Hakarou vs KYOYA was my favorite fight cause Kyoya was so cocky that he best the Hakarou in their last fight by Hakarou was drain of his power cause of their coward way and this fight Kyoya thought he could beat him again but he learn the hard way that you never mess with old peoples in anime
And Naruto and Sakura remain the only ones to claim the bells.
