Seriously can’t wait, don’t understand the people that want action in it. I’m pretty sure there will be combat, set pieces, etc but 90% of games in the market literally have that already. Let us have something different and unique, don’t be so close minded that just for the lack of guns, explosions, or combat, your perception of the game is negative.
I'm getting kind of a "Shadow of the Colossus" vibe from the trailer, I suspect exploration and puzzle solving will play a big role, with some combat interspersed throughout. Fine by me, as far as I know there haven't been any big games like that lately, and we've also been lacking in great sci-fi stories other than Deus Ex.
When Kojima talks about 2016 when he doesn't even have a office or anything. How Guerilla studios give them the whole DECIMA engine without question ask. The emotion he felt that day. How grateful he is to the whole PS Guerilla Team even moved me with pride that I'm belong into this amazing PS eco. I'm glad to see this amazing collaboration. When he tells that he will do his best to give something new n he will not let anyone down. That moved me with pride. Without SONY n Kojima crazy mind. This game will never existed. Look at SILENT HILL PT. that game wasn't fund by Konami. They doubt that game n Kojima. I'm glad that PS is a big part of my gaming life from childhood.
Even though MGS5 was unfinished, many cannot deny the game was fun af and the best in the series in terms of gameplay. This game will be a great representation of Kojima's creativity, unshackled from the clutches of Konami.

Fine by me if it ends up being a walking simulator. We have so many games out there doing the same structures genre wise for years and years. Let this be the one....THE ONE to defy the genre barrier. Each console generation, we experience games that are groundbreaking and a handful of titles that are once in a lifetime experiences. I felt like Hellblade was one of those. This game will be another. If not for this console generation, then the next for sure.

Something about this game has me hooked. Kojima-San can give me all the interviews (I don’t understand) and I will still be hooked. I could be biased or “hyped” but as a director, I feel his overwatch is greatly appreciated and love everything this team is promoting. Kojima is a true gentleman for that. He knows that none of it would be possible without everyone around him and it's awesome to witness that he realizes that. That's powerful. It took me some time to learn for myself too. Crazily, for a time, I have to admit that I was guilty and committed a crime in being TOO absorbed in believing that Kojima was doing everything on his strength and believe that I have power and control over my own life. But it took God's Mind to know more about myself in order to see that I can't get caught up with my own self and believe that I shape my destiny. I have to remember those around me and know that they help me be who I am today. It's never about us. However, there are some people who worship and idolize the individual and believe that Kojima is doing everything on his might when that just isn't the reality.
Kudos to the translator, so much content to translate almost in real time, with Kojima adding stuff to his answers while he's translating... Must be a nightmare.
It’s not that complicated, there are levels to the disease/virus called dooms which grants special abilities. Sam has extinction factor allowing him to sense the beings ( via the allergic reaction shown on his skin), which is why he is able to travel with higher chance of avoiding the beings and extinction factor allows him to manifest again after death. That woman has a higher level of dooms allowing her to see the beings and possibly flight as shown in trailer 3 when she lands on the truck. The giants have umbilical cords for hands which connect to the beings hovering at the end of trailer 4. The beings that hover seem to be intangible and manifest as the tar like substance of people who drag people to the head to be consumed. When consumed the interaction causes a void out destroying everything in the vicinity. When in proximity to the beings plant life and humans will age forwards or backwards, as shown in trailer 4 the rain droplet aged Sams skin, the plants grew near the handprint. I imagine the baby is someone who has been aged in reverse which is why the baby is in that device giving it an artificial amniotic sac.
Last of us released in 2019, death stranding in 2020 thats how Sony does it with big titles unless Microsoft do something amazing and forces Sony to react which I doubt Can’t wait to play this beautiful game 🔥

Seems like we are going to get an Andrei Tarkovsky's stalker kind of game where the main protagonist/antagonist is the environment itself and Sam is just a deliverer, a guy who ventures into the zone looking for artifacts. Based on this trailer our job is to keep himself together. At the end the woman says that Sam doesen't know who she is, so it sounds like brainwashing. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bridges company would be behind all of this, including the death stranding effect.
I see a lot of very cool things on screen, but I'm not sure what I'm seeing looks like a fun game to play yet. Hopefully this is more of like a tech demo to show the world and how it looks and how you somewhat interact in that world. The story looks very bizzare but engaging none-the-less; the story shown so far has me hooked to find out what is going on in this world. Can't wait to play this game early next year.

Remember, as Kojima said from his previous interviews, Death Stranding will not really employ TOTAL ACTION like most d games are going for. it is not like Battlefield nor its not like Dark Souls or any post apocalyptic FPS games like Fallout. not even close to Witcher. Death Stranding has its own flavor. yes, there could be some action elements in the game but I believe its more of an adventure type game slash stealth slash online slash multiplayer slash JRPG. I am not sure how youll picture that out, but I guess thats Kojima's way of trying to revolutionize this game. lets just hope itll come out even better.

Shooting/action will be possible, but it might be better to avoid combat at all and sneak your way through. Given the fact Sam is some kind of transporter guy, I think it is also important to plan your traversal through the world (more like a slow methodical approach). At least that is what comes to my mind.
Maybe it's better off being a surprise so when you play it it is a new experience rather than something you have watched before , like movie trailers only show 3 minutes of footage so the movie isn't ruined
